Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 02 unleashed a range of new weapons onto the battlefield. Submachine gun fans have been treated to the classic PPSh-41, while the Cypher 091 assault rifle and Feng 82 light machine gun have joined the fray. Now, the TR2 marksman rifle has launched as part of a Black Ops 6 and Warzone event and the gun is reminiscent of the FAL.
Activision describes the TR2 as wielding “best-in-class handling, this semi-auto marksman rifle is ideal for fast-moving sharpshooters seeking to combine mobility with precision and power. Its rapid re-centering speed encourages quick follow up shots without losing sight of your target, eliminating unarmored enemies in three-to-four shots out to 100 meters.” As you equip your favorite attachments, the gun will only get a whole lot stronger.

How to unlock the TR2 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
In order to add the latest marksman rifle to your arsenal, you must unlock all the rewards in the Shadow Hunt event. There are six challenges available to complete as part of this event, and completing all six will unlock the TR2. Once the weapon is in your hands, you can begin levelling it up and obtaining all the camos associated with the gun.
If you want to get instant access to the TR2 without going through challenges, you can purchase it as part of a bundle from the in-game store. The bundle goes by the name of Satin Smoke and it’s a Tracer Pack that contains the Humble Brag TR2 blueprint.
The Shadow Hunt event ends on February 20, 2025. It features a range of other goodies such as the new Slipstream Perk, a Double XP Token, and an exclusive skin for those that splashed the cash on the Season 02 BlackCell battle pass.
If you’re unable to bank yourself the weapon before the event concludes, it’ll be available to activate as an armory unlock challenge in the future.
