When will Citadelle Des Morts release in Black Ops 6 Zombies?
The Season 1 roadmap gave players a first look at Citadelle Des Morts, revealing that it would arrive during the mid-season. Treyarch has now pencilled in a specific date, announcing that Citadelle Des Morts will officially launch on December 5, 2024.
The Main Quest will go live with the release of the new map, with Citadelle Des Morts getting a Directed Mode later on. Directed Mode makes the Easter Egg easier, allowing all players to participate in the evolving Zombies narrative. In Directed Mode, the objectives are laid out and marked, while the maximum round is capped at 15.
Details remain scarce, but we know that Citadelle Des Morts is a round-based map set in a castle in Europe. The story picks up right where it left off with the Terminus Main Quest. In the lead up to December 5, Treyarch has shared teaser images on X of the upcoming map, where the eerie castle grounds have been shown off. One image features a medieval village, while another shows a cannon in the shape of a lion guarding the castle.
That’s not all the Zombies content that is lined up for the remainder of Season 1. Yes, Citadelle Des Morts is the star of the show, but you can also expect to see a new Perk-A-Cola, three GobbleGums, a Field Upgrade, Ammo Mod, Wonder Weapons, a Hand Cannon craftable weapon, and 18 Augments to debut.
A date for when this additional content will make its way into Zombies is yet to be confirmed, but more information is expected to roll out in early December.
