Ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 04, Activision has unveiled the content roadmap. Black Ops 6 fans have new and returning game modes to look forward to this upcoming season, with Team Elimination being the latest playlist in town. The name of the mode doesn’t give a whole lot away, but this guide has all the details you need to know to take your squad to victory.
It wouldn’t be a new Call of Duty season without fresh game modes hitting the playlist rotation. Team Elimination is one of those modes that takes the formula of a traditional mode and puts a unique spin on the experience. This mode will be playable at the launch of Season 04, while other modes will roll out later down the line.

Every tag counts
Team Elimination is a new take on the classic Kill Confirmed mode. Both sides are given a limited amount of lives each round as they fight to be the last team standing. Players drop a dog tag on death that can be picked up by the enemy to confirm the kill or by a teammate to deny the opposing team. Survive longer than the other team or hold the most remaining lives when the timer ends to win the round.
Once your team’s life pool is drained, your remaining teammates can still revive you where you were last killed in an effort to clutch the victory at the very end of a match. Scorestreaks are active in this mode and just like regular Kill Confirmed, picking up dog tags contributes to Scorestreak progression in each life.
When it comes to other multiplayer modes, One in the Chamber and Party Ops will deploy in a playlist update later on in Season 04. In One in the Chamber, everyone is given just one pistol, one bullet, a knife, and three lives to work with. Constant UAV sweeps will keep the action going as players compete for the highest score. The only details shared about Party Ops is that it will be made up of a randomized set of party themed minigames and the player with the highest score at the end of the match wins it all.
Hop in a game of Team Elimination when Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 04 begins on May 29, 2025.
