Reckoning is the last map in Black Ops 6 Zombies and with it comes a new Wonder Weapon known as the Gorgofex. In what is now a tradition in the Zombies mode, this Dark Aether creature turned weapon has multiple versions that players can obtain. Unlike other maps, however, players will only be able to get one version of the upgrade, and doing so will decide the fate of either Blanchard or Panos. Players who want to get everything out of this map will want to know how to get every version of this new fleshy handcannon. This guide will show players how to get all Gorgofex Variants on Reckoning in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
How to Get All Gorgofex Variants on Reckoning
There are a total of 3 Gorgofex variants on Reckoning. There is the base version and the Gorgofex C and Gorgofex N. You will need to unlock the Gorgofex first, and then you will be able to get only one of the upgraded variants per match. You can’t Pack-a-Punch the base variant of the Gorgofex, but you can upgrade the C and N. Here is the breakdown for all the quests to get all versions of the Gorgofex.
Gorgofex
The Gorgofex can be obtained by pure chance by relying on the Mystery Box, but there is a way to get a guaranteed Wonder Weapon. After you restart the Particle Accelerator and open Pack-a-Punch, head to the Mutant Research area of Tower 1. There are two monitors that are displaying static that you will need to look at. One is behind the tank with the copies of Richtofen’s wife and son at the east end of the map and the other is on the west side of the room to the left of the Deadshot Daiquiri machine. The static will eventually go away for a short time to reveal a word. Take note of the first letter of both of these words.

You will now need to take these letters and cross-reference them with the Periodic Table to the left of Richtofen’s family. Find the element that corresponds with the letters on the screen. In the playthrough used for the images in this guide, I got L and A, meaning my element was #57, Lanthanum (La).

Once you have your element, take note of its number and go to either of the staircases to the north and south of the Periodic Table. At the top of both staircases in a 3-digit number pad. Input the number of your element. If your number isn’t a 3-digit number, fill the missing spaces with a 0. For example, my code would be 057. This will open the door and grant you access to the T1 Bioweapons Lab. Along the east wall of this room is an incubator with a strange Cyst inside.

You will now need to feed the Cysts. First, you will need to feed it 3 Vermins which have a higher chance of spawning in the Bioweapons Lab. When the Vermin does appear, kill it near the incubator and it will be sucked up into it. Don’t try and kill 3 Vermin at the same time as there is a cooldown for the incubator similar to the Der Eisendrache dragons and Mob of the Dead Hellhounds. After you feed the Cyst 3 Vermin, you will then need to feed it 3 Zombies. Once this is done, the incubator will open. Interact with it to pick up the Cyst.

Go down to the Quantum Computing floor beneath the Muntant Research area. There are 3 Dark Aether fungi that you can absorb energy from. One is next to the door that leads toward the anti-gravity personnel launcher, to the left of the Aether elevator. The next fungus is through the door near the first fungus and can be found to the left of the anti-gravity personnel launcher. The last one is in the center of the room near the Speed Cola Perk Machine. Stand near these fungi and you will pull out the Cyst and absorb its energy. Drain the bar that appears in the top left at all 3 fungi to complete this step.

Before moving on to the next step, I suggest getting a weapon that is at least at Pack-a-Punch Level 1. You will need to defeat a mini-boss, so having some good weapons can be very useful.
Once you’re ready, go to T2 Dark Entity Containment. 4 consoles display the message “Initiate Power Surge.” You will need to interact will all 4 within a time limit. Go to the terminal near the Aether elevator and interact with the console to start the power surge. Go to the left of the XM4 Wallbuy and interact with the terminal. Then turn around and interact with the nearby terminal. Finally, interact with the last terminal near the Stamin-Up Perk Machine.

This will charge the Forsaken containment chamber and an Uber Klaus will spawn. Destroy the shield generators on both of its shoulders and then lead the enemy to the electric pad in front of the Forsaken’s containment chamber. The Cold War antagonist will then be channeled into the Uber Klaus.

The Forsaken is just a stronger Uber Klaus so you will just need to beat it the same way you would against the normal variant. Target the shield generators and then break the boss’s armor by targeting its arms. When you do enough damage to the large body, a Klaus core will eject. Take out this smaller robot to bring down the Forsaken. When the Forsaken is defeated, a purple orb will be left where his body was.

Interact with the orb and you will place the Cyst into it. This will create the Gorgofex Wonder Weapon which you can now pick and wield against the undead hordes.

Gorgofex C
After you get the Gorgofex, go to T1 Executive Suites to talk to Blanchard. Go to the end of the short hallway to the left of the Project Janus statue to find Blanchard’s door. Interact with it to start the upgrade quest. You will only be able to do 1 of 2 upgrade quests and once you start one, you can’t do the other.

Go to the red control room that is unlocked after you unlock Pack-a-Punch. There is a red button on the console terminal. Interact with it to officially start the Gorgofex C upgrade quest. After pressing the button, an engineer Klaus will spawn and start to hack a computer behind the reception desk. You will need to protect Klaus until he finishes his hack. If he is destroyed, you will need to wait until the next round to try again.

When Klaus successfully hacks the terminal, Panos will get stuck in the Quantum Computing elevator and the elevator will stop working. Go up to Mutant Research and then drop down the hole to enter Quantum Computing. Parachute down the elevator and interact with the 3 switches found along the wall.

When you pull all the switches, you will be sent up to Quantum along with Panos in an electric orb form. After some dialogue, the orb will split into 5 smaller orbs. These orbs will bind to Zombies, turning them into electric Zombies. Kill these Zombies with the Gorgofex. The orbs will start to circle the central computer.

When all 5 electric Zombies are killed with the Gorgofex, all of the orbs will combine to give Panos his Aetherial form. Interact with him after Blanchard completes his dialogue to absorb Panos into the weapon.

When Panos is absorbed, you can pick up the Gorgofex C.

Gorgofex N
Just like the Gorgofex C, you need to go to T1 Executive Suites to talk to Blanchard to start the upgrade quest.

Go to the Quantum Computing room in Tower 1. Go to the console on the northwest side of the large central computer to find a Strauss Counter.

The Strauss Counter will point you in the direction of an item called the Life Drain Serum. To get this item, you need to find the locations where the Strauss Counter goes above a 9.00 reading. Once you do, shoot a charged shot of your Gorgofex at the nearby area. This can be on the ground, on a nearby shelf, or through a Zombie spawn barrier. If you shoot the right locations, you will get the Life Drain Serum to drop. Pick it up to progress the quest. At this point, you will officially start the Gorgofex N upgrade quest.

You will now need to find 3 parts for a machine that will drain the life essence of a living creature. One of these items is the PC Fan. You can find this part in T2 Dark Entity Containment. Go to the destroyed computer to the left of the Arsenal on tine southeast corner of the room and interact with it to pick up this part.

Another part is the Clean Hood. You can find this part in the T1 Bioweapons Labs. Look under the window near the northern entrance to find this part.

The last part is the Tubing. Go to Quantum Computing and go north of the Speed Cola Perk Machine. Go forward and take a left. You will find the tube in a corner near a white crate.

Now that you have all the parts, go back to Blanchard’s door in the Executive Suites and build the machine next to the door. Then, interact with it to place the Serum into it. This will start a lockdown where you will need to defend the machine for 90 seconds. Once you do this, Blanchard will be dissolved and his Life Essence will be captured in the vial.

Pick up Blanchard’s Life Essence and go back to T1 Bioweapons Lab. While you carry this, you will be taking damage, so try to get there as quickly as possible. Go to the incubator that you took the Cyst from and place the Gorgofex and Blanchard’s Life Essence into the machine. Interact with the incubator to build the new Wonder Weapon variant.

When the building is complete, you can pick up the Gorgofex N. You can now Pack-a-Punch the Wonder Weapon, which you can’t do with the base version.

You can now unlock all Gorgofex variants on Reckoning in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more news, updates, and guides for Black Ops 6 as well as other great games in the future.
