Citadelle Des Morts brings magic back to the forefront of Black Ops 6 Zombies. Along with the Elemental Swords you can obtain, there are also several Incantations that you can unlock to cast spells against the undead. One of these Incantations is the Light Incantation which will not just take down the Zombies that have infested this ancient castle but also help players heal themselves and teammates. Getting the scroll for this spell requires a small quest that players will need to complete. This guide will show players how to unlock the Light Incantation on Citadelle Des Morts in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
How To Unlock The Light Incantation On Citadelle Des Morts
Before you can start the process of getting this Incantation, you will first need to talk to Krafft, a character who is being held in the Dungeon of the castle. Open the Pack-a-Punch machine and go into the small area behind the Quick Revive Perk Machine to find a wooden door. interact with it and Krafft will talk to you. During this scene, he will cast a spell that allows you to see things related to magic. This unlocks the ability to complete the Incantation quests.
You can now find a series of gems on the walls in both the Dining Hall and the Alchemical Lab. You will need to shoot these gems in a specific order to reflect light between them. After shooting the gem that starts this sequence, a translucent light will come out of the gem. Shoot the gem to rotate it until it hits the next gem in the sequence. You will know that this succeeded when the light becomes solid instead of translucent.
Here is the order of all the gems you need to shoot to connect the light:
- Above the Vulture Aid Perk Machine.
- Above the doorway that connects the Entrance Hall and Dining Hall.
- Above the Lion Knight’s suit of armor.
- Above the bookshelf to the left of the door that connects the Alchemical Lab and Sitting Room
- On the southern wall of the Alchemical Lab.
Once all the gems are shot and the light is reflected off of all of them, the beam will end on a bust and will reveal the Paladin’s Brooch Ritual Item. This is found on the table in the northwest corner of the room.
Go back to the Dining Hall and find the graffiti of a lion on the wall in the southeast corner. A golden circle will appear on the ground. Interact with it and the Paladin’s Brooch will begin to float in the circle. Kill Zombies near the circle to charge it. When this step is done, an explosion will be let off by the item and kill the nearby Zombies. A golden chest will rise from the ground.
The final step to get the incantation is to hit the chest with Solais, the Lion’s Light Sword. You can find Gameranx’s full guide on how to unlock the Light Sword here. Hitting the chest with the sword will open it and you will be able to get the Light Incantation scroll.
This is Tactical Equipment that has 2 charges and will hit any Zombie in front of you with Life Mend when used. You can replenish your Incantations by finding any of the multiple chests around the map similar to the one you originally opened and picking up more Incantation scrolls.
