How to get Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit in Fortnite
The Sub-Zero Kombat Kit can be found in regular chests, but predominantly spawn in rare chests. Rare chests are most commonly found in vaults, but may also spawn across the island. If you don’t want to open a vault, land at a point of interest that houses a lot of chests such as Crime City, for example, and open as many chests as possible.
If that fails, you can open a vault by attaching a stick of Thermite to the door and wait for it to blast the door open. While the Thermite is at work, AI guards will attempt to take you down, so make sure you have plenty of bullets to defend yourself.
Once inside the vault, you can grab all the high tier loot that is inside and hope that you find Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit. Keep in mind that it’s not guaranteed that the gloves will be inside the vault, but you are raising your chances here.
Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit allows you to deal damage via an attack and also gain a mobility boost through an ice slide. The weapon does have durability, but that only decreases when the ice slide function is used. Therefore, the best way to use this weapon is to get up close and personal with an opponent using the ice slide and then spam the attack button. The first hit inflicts 40 damage, while 35 damage is dealt for subsequent combos. Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit also has a passive ability that lets you walk on water while equipped.
