The fashionistas of the Pokémon world will be pleased to hear that Fashion Week is preparing to return in Pokémon Go. The event has released every autumn since October 2020, but this time, Fashion Week is scheduled to take place in January.
Get ready to strike a pose when Fashion Week begins on January 10, at 10am and ends on January 19, 2025, at 8pm local time. Plenty of bonuses will be active and there will be opportunities to catch costumed Pokémon.

Pokémon Go Fashion Week rewards
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be live for the entire duration of the event:
- 2x Stardust from catching Pokémon
- 2x Chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Kirlia wearing a fashionable costume in the wild
Pokémon Debuts
New costumed Pokémon will debut during the event which are:
- Minccino wearing a fashionable costume (has the chance to spawn as a Shiny)
- Cinccino wearing a fashionable costume
Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, all of which have the chance to be Shiny (excluding Bruxish.)
- Diglett wearing a fashionable costume
- Skitty
- Buneary
- Blitzle wearing a fashionable costume
- Furfrou
- Bruxish
Some Trainers may even encounter:
- Kirlia wearing a fashionable costume
Raids
The Pokémon that will feature in Raids also may be Shiny:
One-Star Raids
- Shinx wearing a fashionable costume
- Minccino wearing a fashionable costume
- Furfrou
Three-Star Raids
- Butterfree wearing a fashionable costume
- Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume
Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available, giving Trainers the chance to earn:
- Stardust, XP, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon
Complete a catch-focused Collection Challenge to receive:
- An encounter with Shinx wearing a fashionable costume and XP
Paid Timed Research
For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency,) you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research.
Timed Research rewards include:
- 3,500 XP
- 3,500 Stardust
- An event-themed avatar pose
- Event-themed Pokémon encounters, including Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume, Minccino wearing a fashionable costume, and Furfrou
New Avatar Items
It wouldn’t be a Fashion Week without new items joining the store. The new avatar items will remain in the shop after the event ends:

- Plaid Pants
As always, Timed Research does expire, so it must be completed and rewards must be claimed before January 19, 2025, at 8pm local time.
