Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants not only provides players with a new region to explore and a whole new story to experience, there are also several new Mysteries to be solved. Mystery quests are small, optional puzzles that players can complete to get some unique rewards. The first Mystery players will come across is called “A Collegial Mystery.” By cross-referencing some Notes and paintings, players will be able to crack open a safe and get some items locked inside. How to Complete the “A Collegial Mystery” Mystery in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants
This Mystery can be found in the Villa Pia area, the building where The Order of Giants Adventure quest begins. Go up to the second floor to find a debate hall. Go to the southeast corner of the room to find the Federico’s Letter Note on the table. Pick up this Note to start the Mystery.
Go to the southwest corner of the room and look under the desks to find the Alessandro’s Letter Note.
Alessandro’s Letter will give you the key to opening the safe that must be opened to complete this Mystery. The code for the safe is broken down with hints tied to 3 paintings found around the second floor of Villa Pia. One painting shows Jesus Christ washing his Disciples’ feet. You will need to count the number of Disciples around Jesus. The second painting depicts the Nativity scene. You will need to count the number of Cherubim, the angelic creatures, in the painting. The last painting shows the return of the Prodigal Son. You must count the number of “beasts” that saw the return of the Prodigal Son. This means just count the number of animals in the painting.
There are 12 Disciples, there are 2 Cherubim, and there are 2 animals. The Code to the safe is 1-2-2-2.
Go to the debate hall and look in the northeast corner of the room. You can find a safe sitting on the desk. Enter 1-2-2-2 to open the safe.
On the top shelf of the safe is Alessandro’s Note. Under this Note is the Discretionary Assessment Note. Picking up these Notes will end the Mystery.
On the bottom shelf is the Hard Crust Adventure Book. While not required to finish the Mystery, this book is a reward for opening the safe, so make sure you grab it.
