Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: All The Stolen Cat Mummy Note Locations

The Stolen Cat Mummy Adventure is the main story quest in the Vatican City portion of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. As Indy tries to track down the relic taken from his museum, several collectibles are found along the story’s critical path. These are known as Notes and provide more insight into the narrative. Collecting all of the Notes will also unlock the Archivist Achievement so players will want to know where to find them all, starting with the game’s first open world section. This guide will show players where to find all The Stolen Cat Mummy Note locations in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

All The Stolen Cat Mummy Note Locations in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

There are a total of 42 Notes that are part of The Stolen Cat Mummy Adventure quest. These are pages, books, photos, and several other items that you can pick up and discover in areas pertaining to this story quest. Some of these are also unmissable and will be added to your collection when you reach certain points in the mission. Here is the full breakdown of where to find all of The Stolen Cat Mummy Notes.

Caruso’s Letter

The first Note is found in the Castel Sant’Angelo part of Vatican City, the area that you go through when you first arrive at this level. Progress through the start of the level unit you drop down and enter the chapel in the northeast corner of the map. Sitting on a cabinet in the back of the chapel is this Note.

De Vito’s Letter

Follow the path south of the chapel and go into the guard station on the left to find The Guard House Key. Take this key to a door that is a little south of the station. Go through the door and up the stairs. You will find this Note on a desk.

Mario’s Letter

At the north end of the western courtyard is being patrolled by a guard and a dog is a gate. There is a Note pinned to the gate.

Father Antonio

This Note is unmissable. Complete the Castel Sant’Angelo portion of the level and you will meet Father Antonio. When the cutscene brings you to his office in the main Vatican City area, a drawing of Antonio will be added to your Notes.

Mad Scribbles

This Note is unmissable. After the cutscene with Anthony, you will be told to use the Giant’s Pendant on the wall of the first floor of the Apostolic Library. Follow the objective marker through the underground area until you reach the table with a skeleton sitting at it. This Note is on the big book on the desk.

Cresenzo’s Map

This Note is unmissable. This Note is found under the previous Note.

Strange Mural

Progress through The Stolen Cat Mummy story mission until you make your way into the Tower of Nicholas V. When you reach the room with a stone mural in an archway behind an altar, take a photo of it with your camera to add the picture as a Note.

Sacred Wounds Mural

After opening the Stone Mural and heading down the spiral staircase, you will enter the room that contains the Scared Wounds puzzle. Take a picture of the mural depicting the crucifixion of Christ to add the photo as a Note.

Walking on Water

Go to the mural to the right of the previous mural and take a picture of this mural.

Anointment of Jesus

Go to the wall to the right of the previous mural to find another mural. Take a picture of it to add the photo to your Notes.

Holy Chalice

Go to the left of the crucifixion to find this mural and take a picture of it.

Body of Christ

Go through the gate to the left of the previous mural to find this one. Take a photo of it to add it to your Notes.

Spear of Longinus

Go down the path to the left of the previous mural to find this statue. Take a picture of Longinus to get this Note.

Trapped Account

After solving the Sacred Wound puzzle, pick up the bust that was resting on the Holy Chalice. Take it through the path revealed behind the crucifixion mural and all the way to the end of the hallway. Turn right to find a closed gate with an altar next to it. Put the bust on the altar to open the gate. This Note will be on the ground in the room behind the gate.

Explorer’s Journal

Go to the hallway that leads to the east and goes into the first room on the right. There will be a hole near the roof to the left of the entrance. Climb into this hole and follow the path until you reach another gate. This Note is next to the gate.

Paranoid Writing

Progress through the underground crypt until you reach a point where you need to use your whip to swing across a gap. Inside of doing that, go down into the pit below and crawl through a hole in the wall. This Note can be found in the room that the hole leads to.

Warrior Giant’s Parchment

This Note is unmissable. This Note is collected after breaking open the Giant’s coffin. A cutscene will play where Indy collects this Parchment. When the cutscene ends, it will be added to your Notes.

Lockpicking Nun

This Note is unmissable. When you escape the underground crypt, Indy will see Gina Lombardi for the first time as she breaks into the  Apostolic Palace. Seeing this will add her to your Notes.

Priestess Card

When you follow Gina into the Apostolic Palace and reach the chapel, go to the pew at the front near the altar. This card is sitting on the seat.

Laura Photograph

This Note is unmissable. After meeting Gina on the balcony outside the chapel you will find the Priestess Card, she will give you a photo of her sister and it will be added as a Note

Chariot Card

Go to the western part of the map in front of the Fountain of Confession. On a nearby bench is this card.

Fountain of Confession

Take a picture of the giant Fountain of Confession that the puzzle of the same name is based around to get this Note.

Left Tower Inscription

On the left side of the fountain is an inscription on the tower hinting at how to reveal the puzzle within. Take a picture of it to add the photo to your Notes.

Right Tower Inscription

This is the same as the previous Note but on the right side of the fountain.

Fountain Gate

After rotating the wall of the fountain, the Fountain Gate will be revealed. Take a picture of it to add it to your Notes.

The Baptism

Rotate the Fountain Gate to the left to reveal The Baptism portion of the puzzle. Take a picture to put the photo in the Notes.

The Ark of Bulrushes

Rotate the Fountain Gate to the right to reveal The Ark of Bulrushes portion of the puzzle. Take a picture to put the photo in the Notes.

The Ark of Bulrushes Rotations

This Note is unmissable. This Note will be collected when you find the solution for the Ark of Bulrushes puzzle. Here is how you do it:

• Turn the inner rings once to the right or left to get the other block of wood into the center. This will link the inner and middle rings together until this block is removed.
• Turn the inner ring twice in the opposite direction that you moved the ring originally to get the block to drop out of the rings and allow all of them to move freely.
• Turn the outer ring once to the left. Turn the middle ring once to the right.
• Turn the center ring to make a T to have the central block of wood drop out of the ring.
• This will create a clear path for the boat to go left to right.

Once this is done, use your whip to pull the left ring to get the boat ready to sail and then pull the right ring to send it on its way. If the path is clear, it will sail all the way to the right and complete this puzzle, moving the other statue guard out of the way at the front of the structure.

Trials of Augur

After completing the Fountain of Confession puzzle, go down the spiral staircase behind the gate. Pull the lever found down here to light the fires in the area. In front of the lever is a carving and inscription. Take a picture of it to add the photo to your Notes.

Courtyard Plaque

Progress through the area and past the Pendulum Traps to reach the Monastery Courtyard. Go up the staircase near the levers that open the Silver and Gold Paths. Between them is a stone plaque that you can take a photo of to add to your Notes.

Silver Path Plaque

When progressing down the Silver Path puzzle, you will find a stone inscribed with clues for the puzzle. Take a photo of it to add it to your Notes.

Silver Path Forge

At the end of the Silver Path trial, you will find a large forge. Take a picture of it.

Gold Path Plaque

When progressing down the Gold Path puzzle, you will find a stone inscribed with clues for the puzzle. Take a photo of it to add it to your Notes.

Gold Path Forge

At the end of the Gold Path trial, you will find a large forge. Take a picture of it.

Atonement Prayer

Once you have completed both the Silver and Gold Paths and placed their keys into the door in the Monastery Courtyard, you will enter the secret inner sanctum. Go up the stairs on the left and then swing across the gap to reach the right upper balcony. At the end of this balcony is this Note.

Vatican Secrets

This Note is unmissable. Go into the room through the door on the opposite balcony. This book can be found on a stand in the corner of the room.

Biblia Sacra Cover

Also found on a stand in the opposite corner of the one mentioned above.

Laetus’ Letter

This Note is unmissable. This Note is also found in the room as in the two previous Notes.

Strange Writing Page

Also found in a corner of the room mentioned in the last few entries.

Rossi’s Letter

After beating the Giant in the Treasure Room and seeing Voss take the Cat Mummy, you will go into a room that leads to the Airship. This note is on a sheet near the center of this room.

Ziggurat Dig Report

This note is in the north end of the same room mentioned above sitting on a shelf.

Artifacts List

The final Note is in the same room above at the south end of the room.
