July 20, 2025 marks the second anniversary of Pokémon Sleep. Two years since fans have been recording their sleep, collecting creatures based on Dozing, Snoozing, Slumbering, or Balanced sleep types, all while collecting berries and cooking meals to power up Snorlax. To celebrate the anniversary, Pokémon Sleep has launched a Second Anniversary Prelude event.
The Second Anniversary Prelude event takes place from July 7 at 4am, to July 14 at 3:59am local time. The various event bonuses strictly apply to sleep data tracked during the event. Expect greater Pokémon encounters, no matter what area you conduct your sleep research in.

Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during each day of the event:
- Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research
- Dream Shards from sleep research 1.5x
- Your cooking pot will be 1.5x larger (or 3 times larger on Sunday only.) That means more ingredients can fit
- A few Pokémon of different sleep types will appear during sleep research, regardless of your sleep type for that day
- 150 bonus sleep points every day
Greater Appearance Rates
Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, who appeared during the First Anniversary Fest, will have a greater appearance rate.
