The Gestrals are the strange fantasy creatures found throughout Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. As you explore the fractured Continent, you will come across a few Lost Gestrals, young Gestrals that you need to gather up and return to their caretaker. As you find these Gestrals, players will be given unique rewards. Players who find all of the lost Gestrals will also unlock the Lost Gestrals Achievement and Trophy. Whether you want to get the rewards or want to take one step closer to your completionist goal, players will want to know how to track down each and every one of these lost creatures. This guide will show players where to find all of the Lost Gestrals and unlock the Lost Gestrals Achievement/Trophy in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
All Lost Gestral Locations in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
There are a total of 9 Lost Gestrals found throughout the game’s overworld. You can find some of these Gestrals as early as Act I, but some require specific Esquie Traversal Skills to reach. To find them all, you will need to reach Act III.
Lost Gestral #1
The first Lost Gestral you can find is right in front of the entrance to Esquie’s Nest on the east end of the first island you explore during Act I.
Lost Gestral #2
Follow the path to the right of the entrance to the Stone Wave Cliffs. You can find it behind the Bourgeon enemy.
Lost Gestral #3
After you complete Act I and unlock Esquie’s swim ability, you can reach the island to the northwest of the Gestral Beach near the White Tree area.
Lost Gestral #4
Go through the Forgotten Battlefield and look near some trees southeast of the Monoco’s Station entrance.
Lost Gestral #5
After you unlock Esquie’s Swim through Coral Reefs ability when you complete the Renoir boss fight in Old Lumiere, go through the pass to the east of the island with Monoco’s Station and Old Lumiere. There is a small island in this pass. Go to the beach at the north end of this island and you will find this Lost Gestral.
Lost Gestral #6
Go to the red island to the northwest of Old Lumiere. You will find this Lost Gestral behind the two Continent Mimes.
Lost Gestral #7
You will need to defeat The Paintress and complete Act II to unlock Esquie’s Fly ability. Go to the area north of The Reacher area in the northwest corner of the map. Fly over the wall of trees and logs to find the Lost Gestral next to the merchant.
Lost Gestral #8
This Lost Gestral also requires the Fly ability. Go to the red forest near the entrance to the Endless Night Sanctuary area southeast of the Sirene island. This Gestral can be found among the trees across from the entrance to the Sanctuary.
Lost Gestral #9
Go to the south of the Endless Tower and fly up to find a small floating island. The Lost Gestral can be found on this island.
When you find all of the Lost Gestrals, you will unlock the Lost Gestrals Achievement/Trophy. Once you have found a Lost Gestrals, go to your Camp and follow the path to the left of the cave with the Curator inside. At the end of this path, you can find another cave entrance to the left. Speak to the large Gestral named Sastro and he will reward you each time you find a Lost Gestral.
