Pokémon Go: Mega Gallade Raid Day Schedule and Bonuses

Since the first Pokémon Go Raid Day of the year is just around the corner, Trainers will want to know what Mega Gallade has in store. Of course, Mega Gallade will feature in Raids, but there are also plenty of other bonuses players can take advantage of.

The Mega Gallade Raid Day has a very limited window, taking place on January 11, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm local time. Mega Gallade will then make a further appearance as a Mega Raid boss from January 16 to January 24, 2025.

Mega-Evolved Pokémon Debut

The following Pokémon will make its Pokémon Go debut in Mega Raids.

• Mega Gallade

Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Gallade for a whopping 200 Mega Energy. However, after using the initial 200 Mega Energy, the cost will significantly drop.

Event Bonuses

As always, expect a set of bonuses to be active throughout the event, with a Remote Raid Pass benefit going live ahead of time.

• Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 from January 10, at 4pm to January 11, 2025, at 7pm PST.
• Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of seven.)
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Gallade from Mega Raids.

Event Ticket

For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency,) you can purchase a ticket that grants the following bonuses.

• Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 15.)
• Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
• 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.

These bonuses will be effective for the entire duration of the event, too.

The Mega Gallade Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will be available exclusively on the Web Store for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency,) and includes an event ticket and a bonus Premium Battle Pass at no additional cost.

There’s plenty to do in the mobile game to begin the New Year. A fresh Eggs-pedition event is scheduled to last the entire month, while players are gearing up to work together towards the debut of Fidough.
