Humanity: Competition Trial 02 – Blockade Puzzle Guide

June 8, 2023 by Peter Hunt Szpytek

That bucket of bolts’s never gonna get us past that blockade!

The Others were introduced at the start of Competition, the fourth chapter in Humanity, but Trial 02: Blockade shows players that they’re able to be manipulated and stopped in their tracks, the same as the lines of humans that you direct.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to solve Competition Trial 02: Blockade in Humanity while getting all Goldies.

Trial 02: Blockade Puzzle Solution

The title of this level will help you understand how you need to deal with the Others that are blocking your way to make it to the end goal: block them back. When you first start the level, let the line of people climb up to the raised side of the level and then turn them to their right. Once they get next to the people switch in the center, have them walk onto it, turn to the left, and then snake around so that they’re walking toward the giant pushable block on the other side of the area.

Once they’ve walked to the block, they’ll push it onto a conveyor belt, moving it slightly toward the edge of the area. Turn the line of people around the belt so that they push the now-moved block toward the cut in the wall that’s next to the people switch. Let the line push the block all the way down to the ground below.

With the block dropped, turn the group so that it walks off the edge of the level down to the ground below with the first Goldy. Turn them so that they pick up the Goldy and then climb back up to the area where the block was. When they get there, turn them so that they walk back toward the people switch (you’ll need to undo one of your turn commands for them to walk to the switch.)

Run back to the people switch and undo all of the turn commands surrounding it, leaving only one turn so that the line of people walks directly to the end goal.

With that complete, run to where the people are pouring out of the entrance door and turn them immediately to the left and then to the right so that they pick up the Goldy and climb up to the elevated section of the level. Once they make it to the edge, turn them to the right so that they walk directly to the turn laid in the previous step.

Once all that’s done, let the lines walk to the exit goal together and this level in Humanity will be finished.
