By the time players make it to Dangerous Dinner in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, they should have just 15 more hidden Energy Spheres to collect if they’ve found the rest that are scattered throughout the game’s first six worlds. While it might seem like something of a tall order to snag all 120, finding them all means unlocking all of the bonus content to be found on the Lor, Magolor’s spaceship.
Here’s where to find all five hidden Energy Spheres in level 7-2 of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe.

Energy Sphere #1
When you first start the level, you’ll be on a platform that’s going down while enemies are constantly flying toward you. Avoid them until you encounter a group of bomb enemies. Suck one up and get the Crash copy ability. Eventually, the platform will get to an area full of floating eye enemies that are protecting a blue star coin on the right and the first Energy Sphere on the left. Use the Crash power to take all of the enemies out and then grab the Energy Sphere.
Energy Sphere #2
Play as normal until you get to the section where you’re moving down while avoiding the moving blocks. When climbing down the long ladder after avoiding the giant moving lava block, grab the Ninja copy ability from the enemies on the wall. About halfway down the ladder, you’ll see a subtle gap in the lava on the right that you can float through. On the other side of the lava is an optional star door. Enter it.
Inside the room, you’ll need to hang on the wall above the door so that you’re level with the small opening in the lava block that cuts the room in half. To hang on the wall, hold the stick left while touching it. When on the wall, throw a knife through the opening in the lava to cut the rope that’s holding the platform up which will push a switch that gives you access to the second Energy Sphere below you.
Energy Sphere #3
Continue through the level as normal until you get to an area where you need to move upward. Grab the Hi-Jump power from the ability pedestal nearby and go up until you come to a fork in the road. To get the next sphere, you’ll need to take the path on the right which has the bricks that are moving left and right that can crush you.
Use the Hi-Jump power to quickly jump into the small safe area in the rock that has three red stars in it. Then, jump again to get on top of the rocks. At the top of the section, you’ll find the third Energy Sphere.
Energy Spheres #4 and #5
Play through the level as normal until you get in a mini-boss fight against Ultra Bonkers. Get the Grand Hammer copy ability after defeating him and then use it to smash your way through the area and line up the electrical currents that are running through the blocks that are mismatched. Take the paths that are revealed by lining them up and you’ll eventually come to a giant structure that has four flame vents on it. Use the hammer to smash them in when they’re not shooting fire out and then destroy the final vent that’s revealed after smashing the first four. Once you do, a star portal will open. Jump inside.
As usual, inside the portal outrun the cosmic wall that’s chasing you down by opening paths below you. Eventually, you’ll get to a star door. Enter it and grab a power from the ability pedestals. Head downward and you’ll come face to face with another Sphere Doomer. Beat the enemy and the final two Energy Spheres will be yours.
