How to Get the PP-8001 Weapon in Silent Hill f
To get PP-8001, you will first need to unlock the UFO Ending of the game. To do this, you will need to be in New Game+ and then do the following:
- Listen to the radio about UFO Invasions in Ebisugaoka Visit 1.
- Interact with the Movie Posters in numerical order found during Ebisugaoka Visit 2 and 3.
- Read the Movie Review in front of Chizuruya General Store.
Once you’ve experienced that ending, load a New Game+ playthrough from a save with the UFO Ending. Progress through the game until you reach Ebisugaoka Visit 2, when you and Shu are heading to Rinko’s house. You will need to head back to the first Movie Poster that you interacted with for the UFO Ending. Cross the rice field to the east of the town center and then take the road south. On the left side of the road is some debris you can move out of the way to enter the backyard of a barn. Look on the wall of the barn to find the Movie Poster.
Upon interacting with the poster, a cutscene will play that sees a flying saucer appear. It will drop the PP-8001 weapon, sticking it in the ground behind Hinako. You can now pick the weapon up to use for the rest of this playthrough. The weapon will start off as a long weapon that shares a moveset with the Sacred Sword, but it will decrease in size as it loses durability. This will change its attacks to mirror the broken Baseball Bar and then the Kitchen Knife. You can charge a Focus Attack to turn the weapon red to deal more damage at the cost of more durability damage per attack. If you do a second Focus Attack while the sword is red, it will let out a flash and instantly stun all nearby enemies.
