Trial 05: Mental Block Puzzle Solution
With all levels in Humanity, if you want to collect all of the Goldies, you’ll need to be thinking a few steps ahead so that the Goldies don’t fall off the edge. Use the guide below to know exactly where to put the direction tiles down and then retry the level if you dropped a Goldy with the knowledge of how to do it in one try.
When you first start the level, view the tutorial block and it’ll introduce you to the idea of Block Switches, switches that can only be pushed down when a block is on them. They’re pretty straightforward, but once you understand the concept, you’ll be ready to start the level.
Start by placing a turn command next to the power switch on the ground at the top of the ramp so that the line of people will turn to their right. Let them walk to the edge of the platform and then turn them right again. Place a third right turn command at the end of the platform in front of the tree there. This will have them push the block onto the ground and create a bridge to the end goal.
Jump on top of the blocks and place a turn that faces the power switch in the center and then one that faces the exit goal directly next to it.
In the area below, place a turn that will push the people toward the block switch in the center of the area closest to the ramp. In the space between the turn you just laid down and the block switch, turn the line to its right and then to the right once more so that it will walk up the ramp and out of the central depression.
Snake the line around so that it walks to the side of the level with the Goldy, picks it up, and then walks to the block to the right of the three in the corner. Have them walk left so that they’ll step onto the block once it’s all moved and then you’ll be good to go. Hit the power switch and watch the people snake around the level and make it to the end goal with the Goldy.
