Yaniv Station is a settlement that blocks access to the last few zones of STALKER 2. A wall of trains blocks access to the Pripyat region where some of the best gear in the game is located. You’ll find powerful weapons like the Gauss Rifle or armor like the Exoskeleton Suit in Pripyat, so if you’re eager to power-up early and start using these weapons, you’ll need to skip through Yaniv Station. Normally, you’re only allowed through the blockade after progressing the story.
And there’s another way. By jumping the trains in a very specific spot, you’ll be able to totally skip Yaniv Station and reach the northwest corner of the map. Just bring a whole lot of medkits because Pripyat is a dangerous battlefield that’s swarming with mutants and enemy soldiers. Here’s how to get to Pripyat as early as possible.

How To Skip Yaniv Station
Yaniv Station is the barrier between Pripyat and the rest of the Zone. You’ll find this area north of the Red Forest region — which is easily identifiable on the map by the string of red north of Rostok and Yantar, two of the regions in the west. Normally, you’ll be directed to Yaniv Station as part of the main quest. But, if you want to skip ahead, you can jump over the trains blocking the way north.
- Skipping Yaniv Station: Just left of the Yaniv Station building, there’s a seemingly dead-end alcove with an open train car. Inside the train car. There’s a car with barbed wire on the top and a cargo bed on the opposite side of the open car.
- Jump into the open train car, then jump left to the car with barbed wire. If you hit it just right, you’ll climb onto the barbed wire. From here, simply jump to the right to reach the train car opposite the open train car.
And that’s it. You’ll take some serious bleed damage from walking and climbing on barbed wire, but if you have plenty of medkits that’s an easy fix. Everything causes you to bleed in the Zone, so every healing item will fix you up. When you’re over the barbed wire, just travel north to reach Pripyat.
How To Reach Pripyat Early
The exterior of Pripyat is extremely irradiated and difficult — powerful mutants prowl the perimeter, so you’ll want to enter during daylight so you can see what you’re up against. There’s only one real way to enter the city from this point. Go to the furthest point west on the map and look for a road leading north straight to the Pripyat center. From this entrance to the city, you’ll find additional paths to explore without heavy duty radiation protection.

In the west, look for a small area called the Start Shop. This is a brief stopping point you can use to guide you into the mutant-infested grounds of Pripyat. Monolith soldiers are everywhere in this area, and they’re extremely well-armed with late-game guns you can loot for big paydays at any of the vendors, if you’re willing to drag those items back to a weapon stash.
Pripyat is the best location for loot-hunting in the game. This is where you’ll find end-game guns like the Gauss Rifle — there’s plenty more secrets to find, so go out there and start exploring.
