Silent Hill f: How To Unlock NG+ Ending | Fox’s Wedding Guide

October 1, 2025 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Submit yourself for the Fox’s Wedding — here’s how to get a hidden NG+ ending.

There’s more to Silent Hill f after the first ending. There are a total of five endings to unlock, and all the additional endings can only be earned in NG+. One of the most complex endings is the ‘Fox’s Wedding‘ — Ending #2 — which requires collecting and purifying a secret weapon called the Sacred Sword. All NG+ playthroughs are pretty different, with new cutscenes, weapons and features that carry over from your completed file. There’s a lot to find on subsequent playthroughs and Ending #2 is first on your list. This ending and others also features a totally new final boss that will put your combat skills to the test.

You can also unlock the UFO ending in NG+. Learn how to earn the UFO Easter egg ending with our full guide here and fight back the body-snatching aliens.

NG+ Ending | Fox’s Wedding

Ending #2 is called “Fox’s Wedding” and requires completing the game at least one time. After finishing the story once, you’ll be given the option to save your game — loading the complete save file will restart the story from the beginning.

The second playthrough in NG+ has multiple significant changes. There are new cutscenes, some areas are easier to complete, and you’ll retain all upgrades and omomori tokens. You’ll gain certain powers in the Dark Shrine earlier, and the Oinari brooch will still be in your inventory, allowing Hinako to open doors you couldn’t open on the first run.

NG+ also allows you to unlock secret endings. The following ending is Fox’s Wedding — Ending #2 — and it requires completing a very specific set of steps.

  • Fox’s Wedding | Ending Guide
  • Do NOT use Red Capsule consumables. You can’t use them even once. They’ll automatically appear in your inventory early in the game. You can remove them from your quick-select menu or discard them completely.
  • Collect the Sacred Sword secret weapon by solving the NG+ Jizo Statues in Ebisugaoka. Learn where to find the Sacred Sword here.
  • During the Main Hall sequence, reach the garden area and solve the red water puzzle. Collect the Agura no Hotei-sama in the garden area. Learn how to complete this step on the Sacred Sword purification guide here.
  • Purify the Sacred Sword at the shrine before reaching the Shimazu Residence area. If you solved the puzzle (in the previous step) the basin will be full of red liquid. Interact with the basin to place the Sacred Sword and transform it.

If you complete all of these steps, this ending will trigger at the end of the game. There’s a new final boss at the very end — this boss triggers after completing all three long combat gauntlets after the Shimazu Residence.

If you’re on the correct track, you’ll automatically remove all Red Capsules from your inventory after reaching Shu’s House. A new cutscene will trigger in the shed where Hinako will get the keys to Shu’s House.

You’ll need to complete Jizo Statue puzzles — one appears between each nightmare / dark shrine section of the game. There are five total, and completing all five will cause the Sacred Sword to appear at the Sacred Tree. The Sacred Sword can only be collected AFTER Shu’s House. The last Jizo Statue is found before returning to Hinako’s house.
