Like the classics of the survival horror genre, players will need to manage their inventory in Silent Hill f. With only a limited number of spaces to carry healing and buffing items, players will need to make choices on which items they deem more important. Luckily, there are specific upgrades that will increase the total number of items that can be carried at once. By finding all of these Inventory Capacity Upgrades, players won’t only be able to carry the maximum number of items, but also unlock the “Fervent Collector” Achievement and Trophy. Players who want to get the most out of their inventory will want to know where to find all of these items. This guide will show players where to find all Inventory Capacity Upgrade locations and how to unlock the “Fervent Collector” Achievement in Silent Hill f.
All Inventory Capacity Upgrade Locations in Silent Hill f
There is a total of 6 Inventory Capacity Upgrades, allowing players to increase their inventory size from 8 items to 14 items. 4 of these items can be found in your first playthrough, with the final 2 only being obtainable in New Game+.
Shoulder Bag
The Shoulder Bag can first be obtained during your 2nd Visit to Ebisugaoka, following the Dark Shrine section of the game when you first visit the Otherworld. It is also possible to get this item during your 3rd Ebisugaoka visit but you will miss it when you reach Ebisugaoka Middle School. This bag can be found in the alleys directly northeast of the Chizuruya General Store. You will start your 2nd visit to Ebisugaoka in front of the store. Go east and take the first left turn and then take the next left turn. Take the alley all the way to the west end. You will be in a small clearing. Go right. At the north end of this clearing, turn left to find a small alley. You will find the Shoulder Bag on a crate at the end of this alley.

School Bag
The School Bag is found in Suga Yosie’s locker in Ebisugaoka Middle School. To find the code to her locker, you need to collect Suga’s Origami of Grivances in Aoi’s locker after opening it. You will be told that her code is a “cry for help.”

Go into the girls’ locker room and go to the locker in the back right corner. You will need to enter 505 to create “SOS” on the lock to open it. Inside her locker is the School Bag.

Dirty Drawstring Bag
This item can be found in the Main Hall, the 4th Otherworld locations. After completing the second ritual and taking on the crest that allows Bestial Form, you will go down a hallway to test out the new ability. At the end of the hallway, you will open a door with the crest on it. To your left are two staircases, one going up, the other down. Go up the staircase to find a room with bluish moonlight coming through the roof and a destroyed floor. Go around the destroyed floor to reach the northern wall. You will find this item on top of a cabinet.

Furoshiki
The last item is found in the fishery room in Shimizu Residence III. Once on the 3rd floor of the house, go all the way to the north end of the main hallway and then turn left and take the left hallway to its end. Then, turn left to take the hallway leading south. At the end of this hallway, turn left and then go into the first room on the right. Once in the room, immediately turn to the right to find the Furoshiki on a bench.

Packing Tips
Right at the start of your New Game+ playthrough, make your way down the hill from Hinako’s house until you reach the first hokora. Follow the path to the left of the shrine to find a large house. In NG+, this house will now be opened. Go up to the second floor and go through the door on the left. Look in the right corner opposite the entrance of the room to find a box with the Balcony Key.

Go through the door to the left of the box to step out on the balcony. Go to the right and use the key to open another door that leads to a different bedroom. Once in the room, turn to the left and open the box on the table. You will find the Packing Tips inside the box.

Embroidered Drawstring Bag
The last Inventory Upgrade is in the Corridors, the second place you visit when you journey to the Otherworld. From the start of the area, proceed until the path splits and then go left. Take the next right turn and then turn left again. Stick to the left wall until you make a few turns and find an Inari-sama door. Since you have the Brooch from the game’s previous ending, you can now open this door. Go inside and go to the back left corner to find the Embroidered Drawstring Bag on a shelf.

You can now find all of the Inventory Capacity Upgrade items and unlock the “Fervent Collector” Achievement in Silent Hill f. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more news, updates, and guides for Silent Hill f as well as other great games in the future.
