In Roblox, a big feature in the game is the inclusion of Pets. These companions roam around your garden and can boost aspects to the garden, fellow pets, or even shops. They are able to do these through traits, and feeding pets helps improve a lot of these abilities depending on the pet. But keeping the meter from falling to zero can be tedious and difficult if you’re feeding them crops individually. That’s where the Cooking Kit comes into play.
What is the Cooking Kit?

The cooking kit is a cosmetic item players can add to their garden. By throwing in different crops, the cooking kit will produce meals after a while that players can use. The purpose of cooking food used to be for completing specific quests, but after the Cooking Event, this cosmetic has been repurposed to being a convenient item for feeding pets and for selling cooked foods.
Feeding meals to pets increases their hunger bar by a much higher percentage than feeding raw crops.

Is Feeding Pets Important?
While feeding or even having pets is not necessary to play the game, or to grow crops, feeding helps them to use their unique traits as said at the beginning of the article. For some, feeding them reduces the cooldown time in between them using their ability. This is incredibly helpful for some crops that take multiple hours to fully grow and produce crops that you can pick. If you do not feed your pets to where their hunger bar is empty, they are unable to age, therefore unable to level up their abilities to become even more effective.

What are the Best Pets?
While this is not a tier list of the best pets, here are a few pets that benefit players incredibly the more that their traits are able to mature.
- Raccoon: Divine
Rascal: Every 15:04–0:15m, goes to another player’s plot and steals (duplicate) a random crop and gives it to the player!
- Birb: Prismatic
Birbegg: Occasionally uses its cuteness to hatch eggs faster. All eggs advanced their hatch time faster! There’s a chance for the time advance to be multiplied.
- Kitsune: Prismatic
Nine-Tailed Myth: Every 22:25-1:00m, goes to another player’s crop, mutates it with Chakra then steals (duplicates) it and gives it to the player! Small chance (~1%) to mutate with Foxfire Chakra mutation instead!
- Capybara: Legendary
Chill Zone: All pets within ~15.5 studs won’t lose hunger and will gain ~3XP every second before aging. The boost increases as the Capybara ages or depending on weight!
Become a chef your pets will love, help them to grow and benefit your garden even more!!
