Schedule 1 is the latest indie co-op to climb its way to the top of the Steam charts. Despite being in Early Access, there’s plenty of content and illegal activities to get involved in. The primary aim of the game is to build your very own drug empire, taking charge of every aspect of production, distribution, and of course, growing your client list and meeting your customer’s requests. Due to your line of work, watching your back for police trying to lay down the law on you is key. If you find yourself needing to escape from the police in Schedule 1, this guide will show you how to avoid arrest.
The town in which you carry out your illegal work in Schedule 1 is riddled with police. Law enforcement is strict, they will often search your body for any illegal items in your inventory and even deploy a nightly curfew that will land you in a jail cell if you’re caught breaking.
Of course, there are ways to avoid gaining police attention such as dealing drugs out of sight, pickpocketing when there aren’t any police around, and concealing illegal substances when you are chosen for a body search. But, what’s the fun in that?

How to escape the police in Schedule 1
If years of Grand Theft Auto hasn’t taught you this already, the best way to lose the police in Schedule 1 is to run and hide. The police have access to equipment such as tasers that they won’t be afraid to use, so make sure you’re running in all kinds of directions, down alleys, through bushes, under bridges, anywhere that will break their line of sight.
Your first instinct may be to sprint to your safehouse, but you can’t enter your base while the police are on your tail. One of the best hiding spots to escape the police in Schedule 1 is in dumpsters. You can open up a dumpster and jump inside, before closing the lid to place your character completely out of sight. Simply wait for the wanted meter to fully deplete and you can then safely leave your hiding spot.
Whatever you do, stay out of the circle that surrounds the cops because once you are in their radius, they’ll be able to arrest you. If you do end up getting caught, it doesn’t mean game over, but you will receive a setback. The police will fine you and confiscate any illegal goods you have in your inventory.
