Black Ops 4 Zombies: Tag Der Toten - How To Craft Dynamite Bombs & Destroy 'X' Barriers

Open inaccessible paths with the Dynamite Bomb.

All around the Tag Der Toten map, you’ll find conspicuous ‘X’ marked barriers that block paths. They’re seemingly invulnerable — until you acquire the powerful Dynamite Bomb. This special bomb can be crafted from zombie parts, and you can use them to unlock even more shortcuts and passageways in this final Black Ops 4 Zombies map.

Actually crafting the Dynamite Bomb is a tricky process, and it requires killing specific types of zombies. You’ll need to use the snowball piles found throughout the map to freeze the undead before killing them — there are actually multiple ways to freeze a zombie on this map, and I’ll go over all of them in the full guide below.

How To Craft Dynamite Bombs & Destroy ‘X’ Barriers

To craft Dynamite Bombs, you need to collect three special parts by killing zombies. Dynamite Bombs can be crafted at both Workbenches — one is located in the Lighthouse Station, and the other is on the Gangway.

How To Get Dynamite Bomb Parts:
- You need to freeze and kill Fire Zombies.
- Each time you freeze and kill a Fire Zombie, one of the Dynamite Bomb parts will drop.

You can freeze zombies using three methods — Snowballs (found everywhere in small piles), luring them into the water for long periods, or using the Tundra Gun found in the Mystery Box.

Only Fire Zombies will drop parts. Fire Zombies are burning, elemental-infused zombies that begin to spawn often as the round counter goes up. You won’t miss them.

After collecting all three parts, go to either of the two Workbenches and craft a Dynamite Bomb. They can be used to destroy any of the wooden barriers with a red ‘X’ painted on. You only get one Dynamite Bomb per craft, so use it wisely.
