Black Ops 4 Zombies: Blood Of The Dead - How To Get The Free Blundergat

The Blundergat is an important Wonder Weapon you’ll need to get your hands on to complete main Easter egg mini-quests in “Blood of the Dead”, the Alcatraz remake in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Normally, you’ll have to use the Mystery Box and hope that random luck is on your side to get the Blundergat. Thankfully, there’s another way — one that involves collecting spectral skulls with the Hell’s Retriever.

To complete this challenge, you’ll need to construct the Spectral Shield and grab the Hell’s Retriever. Check out the links below for all the details you need. The Spectral Shield can be used to scan the environment for hidden objects — hidden objects like spectral skulls. The Hell’s Retriever Tomahawk can collect objects outside the map and bring them back to you. Using both pieces of gear, you’ll be able to find and then collect hidden skulls. Find them, and you’ll get a free Blundergat.

Blood Of The Dead – How To Get The Free Blundergat | All Skull Locations Guide

Before you can begin the Blundergat quest, you’ll need to construct the Spectral Shield and collect the Hell’s Retriever Tomahawk. Check out the guides linked above for all the details.

To get a free Blundergat, use the Spectral Shield’s Afterlife Vision Mode to find hidden spectral skulls in the environment. Once you find a skull, throw your Hell’s Retriever Tomahawk to collect it.

Find all five skulls, and the Blundergat will spawn on the desk in the Warden’s Office.

Spectral Skull Locations:
- Skull #1: C-D Street – Inside a cell, across from the Library door.
- Skull #2: Eagle Plaza – On top one of the utility poles
- Skull #3: Docks – On one of the wooden dock poles in the water.
- Skull #4: West Grounds – On the stairs, on a landing with a door, to the right when facing the door to the spawn building.
- Skull #5: Roof – On the right side.

Throw your Hell’s Retriever to collect them all. The Blundergat can be upgraded into the Acidgat, Pack-a-Punch’d, or upgraded into the Magmagat. It’s important for several different Easter eggs, so if you don’t feel like using the Mystery Box, here’s an alternate method.
