Ashes of the Damned kicks off the year for Black Ops 7 Zombies and with such a large and expansive map comes a lot of small side Easter Eggs to discover. One of these mini-quests will test players’ skills with a Tomahawk, as they will be tasked with an axe-throwing challenge to earn useful rewards. Before they even have a chance to throw these axes, players will first need to know where to find this Easter Egg and how to start it. Luckily, I can break down how to complete this small quest and how to get the best rewards while doing it. This guide will show players how to complete the Axe Throwing Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
How to Complete the Axe Throwing Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned
The Axe Throwing Easter Egg can be found in Blackwater Lake. Go to the shed in the southwest corner of the area, the same small building with a Crafting Table. Go into the room to the right of the table and you will find a small trophy on a shelf. Interact with it and it will emit a small glow and a sound effect will go off. Go outside the shed and you will find a Combat Axe in a small stump. Pick up this Combat Axe to start this Easter Egg.
Now that you have the Combat Axe, go to the southeast corner of Blackwater Lake and you will see a floating purple target outside the playspace. You will be tasked with throwing your Combat Axe and hitting the target. After hitting it, it will disappear and a new target will appear. After the first few targets, new targets will start to move. You will need to hit all the targets that appear.
After you hit all of the targets, Mr. Peeks will appear and give out rewards. These rewards can include Essence, Salvage, Perks, weapons, Killstreaks, Aether Tools to improve a weapon’s rarity, or Aetherum Crytals for free Pack-a-Punch upgrades. This Easter Egg can only be done once per game and by one player.
