With a map as big as Ashes of Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies, there are tons of Easter Eggs to discover. With some being major quests and others providing some new tunes, there are also many small side quests that will reward players with items to help in their survival. One of these Easter Eggs is the ARC-XD race, which forces players to speed around a course with the Aetherium-powered, remote-controlled car. Whether it be by yourself or with a team, this Easter Egg can provide players with useful rewards. This guide will show players how to complete the ARC-XD Racing Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
How to Complete the ARC-XD Racing Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned
Before you are able to start the ARC-XD Racing Easter Egg, you will first need to open up most of the doors in Zarya Cosmodrome. You will need to open every door at the Point of Interest besides the door that leads into Yuri’s Lab. This means you will need to gain access to the Support Systems by opening the shutters at the bottom of the stairs between the Exfil phone booth and the jump pad, as well as the Flame Trench under the rocket by buying the gates on the top floor of the Cosmodrome or the door that connects the area to the Support Systems. This will open the path for the race course you will use during the Easter Egg.
Once you’ve opened the path at the Cosmodrome, you will need to find an ARC-XD controller that spawns in one of three locations every game.
The closest controller to the Cosmodrome is in the Crashed Plane area between Zarya Cosmodrome and Exit 115. Travel along the north wall and you will find a fallen tree. The controller is behind this tree.
Another controller can be found in Lost Cabins, the Fog area between Blackwater Lake and Ashwood. Go into the cabin that is closest to Blackwater Lake and go up to the second floor. You will find a suitcase on a table next to a couch. There is a small toy controller next to the suitcase.
Finally, go to the Grounded Ship between Ashwood and Varndorn Farm. Go up to the deck of the ship and park Tessie in front of a window along the south part of the ship. Climb up on top of Tessie and look at the inaccessible rooftop above the window. The controller will be sitting on the corner.
Interact with the controller to start the race. If you’re in co-op, everyone in the game will get a prompt to vote on whether they want to race or not. In solo, the race will instantly start. You will need to take control of an ARC-XD and will need to make your way around the course at Zarya Cosmodrome as quickly as possible. At the end of the race, Mr. Peeks will give you a reward that will increase in rarity the higher the score you get in the race.
