Gotham Knights: How To Unlock All Skills & Raise The Level Cap | NG+ Guide

November 2, 2022 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Maxing out your main.

Earning every ability for your character isn’t as easy as leveling up. In Gotham Knights, after reaching the end of the game, completing the final boss and reaching the level cap, you’ll still have multiple skills you can’t yet unlock. To get them, you’ll need to complete more objectives for bonus skill points — and even that isn’t enough. To max out your hero, you have to reach Level 40.

The standard level cap in Gotham Knights is Level 30. If you want to go above and beyond, you’ll need to start a new game — a new game plus. This unlocks after completing the main story and can be accessed from the main menu. And that isn’t enough either. Every character has their own mini-challenge arc related to their unique movement abilities and momentum powers. You’ll need to complete all their individual challenges to get enough skill points. Check out the full guide below for a breakdown of everything you need to do to earn all your skills — luckily levels are shared between all characters, so the only challenges you need to complete individually are those Knighthood challenges.

How To Max Out All Skills

To fully max out skills for all characters, you need to accomplish a series a tasks — it isn’t enough to just reach max level in a single playthrough. Getting to max level and unlocking every skill does not work for all characters. You’ll be about 90% there with other characters, as all other characters share skill points for leveling up, completing all collectibles, and more. You’ll need to complete each individual character’s Knighthood track.

  • To max out all skills, you’ll need to accomplish the following:
    • Complete the story and unlock New Game+. This allows you to start a new remixed version of the story.
    • Play through NG+ and reach max level. NG+ unlocks Level 30-40.
    • Complete all collectibles — finding all landmarks, batarangs, art murals and more will give you bonus skill points. You’ll need to complete all these extra collectible tasks.
    • Complete your character’s Knighthood Challenges and watch all cutscenes. All characters have several steps of challenges to complete to fully unlock all character abilities.
    • Complete all tutorials.
    • Complete all Court of Owls Talon caches.
    • Complete the Court of Owls Talon caches again in NG+.

The Knighthood Challenges are the only challenges related to individual characters, everything else is shared and unlocked for everyone. All characters will be Level 40 and share the bonus skill points after completing the side-cases for collectible hunting. This is the only way to fully max out your characters and earn all skills in the game.
