Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has a huge list of weapons that you can take into battle and also has a deep weapon customization system that can see players creating some pretty unique loadouts. While players can spend hours creating the weapon that fits them, many are going to want to know what makes a gun as powerful as it can possibly be. One such weapon is the BAS-P, the first new SMG added to both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. Now that we have plenty of time to figure out what makes the gun tick, let’s make a powerful build that makes the weapon even more powerful on the battlefield. This guide will provide a breakdown of one of the best loadouts for your BAS-P in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Best BAS-P Loadout In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
The important thing to note is that the new attachment system in Modern Warfare 2 is different than previous installments that will require you to experiment with other weapons to really get the class that you want. As you are putting together your best BAS-P build, just know that you will need to use a few other weapons to get the attachments they provide to make this loadout as strong as possible. This compact SMG is a weapon that can be made into one of the fastest-killing guns in the entire game, especially at close range which is where the weapon thrives. so our goal is to make sure the speed of both the player’s movement and the weapon is kept high to ensure fast engagements and quick kills.
We will start looking at the Barrel of the weapon and will equip the 6.5″ Bruen Drake, unlocked at Level 13 of BAS-P. This barrel comes with a set of negatives and positives, but the positives work in favor of our quick movement and fast-killing weapon we are trying to make. While ADS and Movement Speed are increased along with Hip Recoil Control, you will lose Damage Range, Bullet Velocity, Hip Fire Accuracy, and Recoil Control. From the front of the weapon to the back, we will equip the Bruen Flash V4 Stock which is made available at BAS-P Level 10. this will improve the weapon’s Sprint, Aim Walking Speed Crouch Movement, and ADS Speed, though it will affect Aiming Stability and Recoil Control.
SA Schalldampfer 99 unlocked from the Lachmann Sub at Level 18 will provide Sound Suppression as well as improved Bullet Velocity, Recoil Smoothness, and Recoil Control. This will, however, decrease your ADS and Aim Walking Speed, Aiming Stability, and Damage Range.
Lockgrip Precision-40 also from the Lachmann Sub, unlocked at Level 9, and will increase Hip Fire Accuracy, Recoil Steadiness, and Aim Walking Steadiness for a slight loss in ADS Speed. Finally, the Bruen Flash Grip from the Level 21 BAS-P is a Rear Grip attachment that will also improve your Aim Down Sight and Sprint to Fire Speed while having a negative hit to Recoil Control.
While these are great attachments that bring that greatly improve the BAS-P, there are a few others that I could also work to your benefit. Cronen Mini Pro, unlocked by getting the Expedite 12 shotgun to Level 6, is a great sight that gives you a nice and open light of sight and makes it easier to pick out. Luckily the iron sight of the BAS-P is fairly clear and doesn’t really negatively affect aiming, but players that want a much clearer sight won’t find a better one than the Cronen.
The 50-Round Drum can also be a great addition to your weapon as it will allow you to battle through more engagements without having to reload and will be available for the weapon at BAS-P Level 20. Finally, the Bruen GR-500 is a replacement for the Bruen Flash Grip that will trade out the Aim Down Sight and Sprint to Fire Speed bonuses for a Flinch Resistance improvement.
