Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Complete Hidden Wall-E Friendship Requirements

September 26, 2022 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Become best friends with Wall-E by completing his most hidden requirements.

To level up your friendship with Wall-E in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll have to complete two “Hidden Requirements” — you’re locked from leveling him up until you complete this step. And it isn’t entirely obvious what to do next — if you’re lost and need help completing both hidden requirements so you can become best friends with Wall-E, we’ve got a quick explanation that should help. It really isn’t difficult, but it might take you some time.

Disney Dreamlight Valley plops you into your own Disney-themed valley, packed with classic characters like Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Goofy and more. Travelling to realms and making friends, you’ll slowly invite more villagers to your valley, where you can clean up and customize the realms as much as you want. You’ll have a little house to upgrade and expand while unlocking each area, finishing quests and increasing friendship with all your favorites from Disney’s long cinematic history. And that includes Woody from Toy Story now.

Wall-E Friendship Guide | Level 8 Hidden Requirements

One of the biggest questions players have while leveling up Wall-E friendship appears at Level 8. Once you level up Wall-E this much, you’ll need to complete two hidden requirements. This are hidden objectives that the game won’t tell you — and there’s only one way to complete this step.

  • How To Complete Wall-E Hidden Requirements: Collect Wall-E Memories. Once you collect a Memory, talk to Ariel to reveal it.
    • Memories are found randomly while harvesting Night Thorns.

Night Thorns will randomly drop character memories. If you’ve cleared out the Night Thorns in all regions and then invited them to your Valley, you can wait a day — more Night Thorns will spawn in all regions after the daily reset. Farm those Night Thorns and you’ll eventually find the memory. This will ONLY occur when clearing Night Thorns. Wait for more to appear daily and clear them out!

Wall-E is a good companion too. Wall-E, once he’s invited to your valley, will fix up the Peaceful Meadows garden and start producing food. You can visit Wall-E daily to collect a bounty of free food that Wall-E grows himself. The more your friendship grows, the more produce Wall-E provides. Not a bad benefit!
