The Riot Shield returns with all the same useful functionality as other Black Ops 4: Zombies maps. Like always, you’ll need to track down three parts that randomly appear in a variety of different locations. They’re not too hard to find — the problem is that you’re being hunted by a swarm of zombies. They’re on your tail every second, making it kind of trick to search.
With that in mind, we’re going to list all the locations we’ve found (so far) to help you build this Riot Shield. It isn’t a unique variant — it’s just like other maps. You get a gun that you can fire while on-the-move, or you can lock your gun into the shield itself to provide extra protection that also slows you down. One benefit of the shield is that once it’s built, everyone in your team can grab one. They protect your back when it isn’t equipped, but the shield will shatter if it takes too much damage.
How To Build The Riot Shield | Part Locations Guide

The Riot Shield is a special weapon you can equip to your character. It’s default set to [L1 / LB]. If it breaks, you can collect another at the crafting station.
Crafting Location: The Riot Shield Crafting Station is located in the Green House Upstairs, in the bedroom on the second floor. The Green House is on the left side of the Cul-de-Sac.
Shield Base Locations:
- Location #1: Cul-de-Sac – Leaning against the green car, sitting outside the Green House’s garage.
- Location #2: Cul-de-Sac – Leaning against the front of the ruined bus.
Shield Window:
- Location #1: Beds (Bunker) – Next to a dresser, near the Lounge tunnel.
- Location #2: Beds (Bunker) – On the metal shelving unit, near the Generators tunnel.
- Location #3: Beds (Bunker) – Sitting on a yellow polka dot sofa with a fallen shelf.
Handle:
- Location #1: Operations – On the desk, under the wall of monitors next to the stairs leading up to the second floor.
- Location #2: Operations – On the floor of the garage, leaning against the filing cabinets.
