Pokemon Sun & Moon: All The Pokemon Exclusive to S.O.S. Battles

Not all Pokemon appear in the wild so easily — some Pokemon in Sun and Moon only appear when they’re called into battle. The complete list of Pokemon that only appear during S.O.S battles is available below, along with details to help you find each one.

The S.O.S. Battle mechanic appears early in the game, and wild Pokemon will call for back-up in the form of additional Pokemon. Only one extra battle mate will appear at a time, but as long as that second slot is open, Pokemon can continuously call for aid. It’s more than just a nuisance, certain extremely rare Pokemon will only appear when called into an S.O.S. battle.

Exclusive S.O.S. Battle Pokemon

The following Pokemon can only be captured in Pokemon Sun / Moon when summoned in an S.O.S. battle by a wild Pokemon. These S.O.S. exclusives appear in specific areas in the Alola Region. To encounter them, enter a battle against a wild Pokemon in the areas listed and wait until an S.O.S. is called.

Ways to Increase S.O.S. Chances:
- Pokemon with low health are more likely to call for S.O.S. aid.
- Purchase Adrenaline Orbs from Pokemon Centers. One can be used per battle.
- Use abilities like: Unnerve, Intimidate, or Pressure.

NOTE: Some S.O.S. Pokemon will only be called during in-battle weather conditions. If weather is required, it will be noted in each entry.
