The Zursa zombie bear is the newest Elite Enemy introduced to Black Ops 7 Zombies with the game’s launch map, Ashes of the Damned. While an imposing foe, it is also key to an item required for the map’s main Easter Egg. Like all Elite Enemies since Black Ops 6, this undead bear will spawn for the first time on Round 16. Luckily, there is an Easter Egg that allows players to spawn the monster earlier than that, so that players who are fast on their feet can get through the Main Quest as quickly as possible. This is done by completing the Skulls Easter Egg and can be done at any round. So, allow me to show you where to find these skulls and how to activate them to summon the bear. This guide will show players how to spawn a Zursa and complete the Skulls Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
How to Spawn a Zursa on Ashes of the Damned
To complete the Skulls Easter Egg and summon a Zursa, you will first need to get the Necrofluid Gauntlet Wonder Weapon. Once you have this otherworldly weapon, go to Zarya Cosmodrome. You will need to shoot 3 skulls hidden around the area with the Wonder Weapon to make their eyes glow green. They will spawn in the same location every game of Ashes of the Damned, and you can shoot them in any order.
One skull is in a hole at the base of the wall to the east of the top of the ramp near the center of the Cosmodrome.

Go down the zipline in the southeast corner of the area and look out the Zombie spawn window. Look up and to the right to see the skull on a metal beam.

Look at a metal beam behind the Wallbuy to see this final skull.

Once all 3 skulls are shot, a Zursa with purple eyes will spawn. This Zursa is no different than any other bears that can spawn. This Easter Egg can only be done once per game and can be done on any round.

You can now spawn a Zursa bear and complete the Skulls Easter Egg on Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7 Zombies. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more news, updates, and guides for Black Ops 7 as well as other great games in the future.
