The original, awesome PPSh is back in Call of Duty: WW2 Zombies yet again — transplanted from ‘The Final Reich’, a couple of clever Easter egg hunters were able to discover how to unlock ‘The Classic’ Treyarch version of the Russian PPSh SMG in ‘The Shadowed Throne’. Now this OP weapon can be earned through a fun little minigame.
This recreational of the original PPSh is a reference to Treyarch, the first Call of Duty developers to include a Nazi Zombies mode in their game. In Call of Duty: World at War, you could acquire a PPSh with a drum-barrel that fired incredibly fast. That’s been changed in the most recent WW2-set Call of Duty, with a much slower firing rate and a piddly magazine that doesn’t compare to the old one. Now you can change all that — it’s all about good timing and a little bit of luck.

How To Get ‘The Classic’ PPSh | Secrets Guide
To get a way-better PPSh that’s an obvious allusion to the awesome original Treyarch PPSh SMG, you’ll need to play a little minigame. The special PPSh called ‘The Classic’ is improved over the original in a couple of important ways — it shoots much, much faster, and has a drum magazine with 70 bullets. That makes it one of the best weapons to Pack-a-Punch.
- Go to the Cabaret and enter the backstage area. Find the three mirrors in the back-right corner.
- Drop Jolts onto the left-most of the three identical mirrors to begin the minigame.
- To play the minigame, you’ll need to watch the flashing lights — interact with the mirror [Square / X] to stop the flashing lights on the exact spot where the lights began to spin.
- If you stop the lights at the right time, the mirror will flash and spit out cash.
- Repeat the process with the center, then right-most mirror. Drop Jolts at each mirror, then interact to stop the lights right where they started — the mirrors spin faster and faster with each one you complete.
- When you complete all three, they’ll all spit out cash and flash. You can now collect the PPSh — but only if you’re lucky.
This is the annoying part. Now that you’ve completed the Easter egg, it’s time to get ‘The Classic’ PPSh. You’ll have to use the Mystery Box, and hope that you’re lucky enough to get the PPSh. Instead of the normal PPSh from the Mystery Box, you’ll get ‘The Classic’ — the improved, older version of the weapon that’s one of the best zombie SMGs in the series. Pack-a-Punch it to get a cool chrome exterior.
It’s the same weapon model found in ‘The Final Reich’, if you know how to do that Easter egg, but now you can collect it in ‘The Shadowed Throne’ too.
