As the Wasteland becomes more dangerous, greater forces are needed to save the Fortnite island. It’s the perfect time for X-Men’s Master of Magnetism, Magneto, to join Chapter 5 Season 3. The latest update has unleashed Magneto, along with his powerful Gauntlets to turn the tides of battle royale modes. Before you can play as Magneto in Fortnite, you must unlock the skin which there are two variants of. Along the way, you’ll pick up more themed goodies to fully kit out your character in true omega-level fashion.
Magneto is the secret skin which is tied to the current battle pass. As a result, you must own the battle pass in order to access the questline and unlock all the rewards associated with it. There are two pages of quests here, all with an item associated with each objective.

Once you complete three quests from the first page, you’ll unlock the Wastelander Magneto Outfit. Also, it comes with an option to remove Magneto’s helmet and equip a face plate.

- Visit the Weapon X Lab – Knock, Knock, CLANG Loading Screen
- Collect Magneto Gauntlets – Magneto’s Grasp Spray
- Travel 300 units in the air with Magneto Gauntlets equipped – Magnetized Scrap Pickaxe
- Hit 10 vehicles using Magneto Gauntlets – Wastelander Magneto Banner Icon
When the entirety of the first page is done and dusted, you’ll unlock a second page of quests. After completing three Page 2 challenges, you’ll unlock the Magneto Style of the Wastelander Magneto Outfit.

- Eliminate 5 opponents with Magneto Gauntlets – Crushed GG Emoticon
- Block 200 hits using Magneto Gauntlets for defense – Magnetic Steps Glider
- Do 2,000 damage to opponents from one story above or higher – Disassemble Emote
- Configure 3 Rift Beacons – Magnetism Master Wrap
The Magneto skin and matching cosmetics will be available to earn until the Wrecked season ends on August 16, 2024.
