How to get Lightsabers in Fortnite
In previous Star Wars crossovers, Lightsabers could easily be found in chests and as floor loot. This time, you need to locate a Star Wars character on the map and interact with them. Although they spawn in random locations, an icon will appear on your map, telling you their exact location.
Once you speak to a Star Wars character, you’ll enter a Rift Gate and exit with a Lightsaber in hand. You’ll also acquire some useful Force abilities, allowing you to push, pull, or throw objects and players. The abilities you’ll get for speaking to Ahsoka Tano’s specifically are a faster sprint sprint speed and double jump.
Additionally, you can get a Lightsaber by taking out an opponent who has one in their inventory and they’ll drop it for you to pick up yourself. However, if you grab a Lightsaber from a fallen player, you won’t get the Force abilities.
Since Lightsabers are melee weapons, you’ll have to be ready to engage in close-quarter combat. You can continuously hit a player and string together a powerful combo, or use it to block incoming bullets.
That’s all there is to know about Lightsabers in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. May the force be with you!
