Fortnite: How to get the Sharp Tooth Shotgun | Location Guide

July 2, 2023 by Lauren Sayles

A more powerful version of the OG Pump shotgun.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has introduced us to the Wilds. The middle of the island has collapsed, revealing a hidden jungle containing various plants, rideable Raptors, and an array of secrets ready and waiting to be discovered. Epic Games has continued to shake up the loot pool by adding new weapons for players to master. The Sharp Tooth shotgun has joined the battle royale and this guide will show you its location, so you can try it out for yourself.

The Kinetic Boomerang was recently removed, paving the way for the Sharp Tooth shotgun. Once you take a look at the weapon stats, you’ll definitely want to add the shotgun to your inventory in your next match.

How to get the Sharp Tooth shotgun in Fortnite

The Sharp Tooth shotgun can be found by looting chests and simply keeping an eye out for it as floor loot. If luck isn’t on your side, you can search for vending machines that sell shotguns and buy one in exchange for gold bars. In addition, you can get your hands on Epic and Legendary versions of the weapon via Holo-Chests Combat Caches.

The Uncommon version of the Sharp Tooth shotgun is capable of dealing 103 damage. This increases all the way up to the Legendary shotgun which is able to deal 119 base damage. Even though the gun has a slow fire rate and only a 4 round magazine size, you’ll be able to shred through enemy health at both short and medium range.

That’s everything you need to know about the new Sharp Tooth shotgun and its location on the Fortnite map. Since the weapon is a stronger version of the Pump shotgun, its likely to be extremely popular among players.
