Since Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is all about Marvel, it’s hardly surprising that a new themed weapon has joined the loot pool. Shuri’s Black Panther Claws allow you to hack and slash, while granting mobility bonuses.
The v31.10 patch deployed the first significant update since the launch of the current season. Shuri’s Black Panther Claws isn’t the only weapon to debut, as the Ultra Doom Mythic is also causing havoc in battle royale modes.

How to get Shuri’s Black Panther Claws in Fortnite
Shuri’s Black Panther Claws can be found inside Avengers chests which are at almost every point of interest on the Chapter 5 Season 4 map. This particular type of chest resembles more of a loot crate and is white and blue in color.
There’s a chance that the Black Panther Claws will drop when you capture Loot Lake Island. To do so, visit the area when it spawns during a match and capture the flag situated in the middle.
Alternatively, you can purchase the weapon straight from the Shuri NPC. You can find her by the train tracks, east of the Nitrodrome. When you interact with her, you’ll be given the option to purchase the Black Panther Claws for 300 gold bars.
When you equip this weapon, you’ll have access to the following three abilities:
- Slash: The Slash attack allows players to slash at opponents in close-quarter combat. It deals 35 damage and has a cooldown period.
- Pounce: The Pounce attack lets you leap and dive at enemy players.
- Supercharge: The Supercharge Claws can only be used once you’re powered up. Once the purple bar tied to the weapon fills, Supercharge to boost your Slash and Pounce attacks for a short period of time. Sprint speed and jump height will also be buffed.
