MW3 and Warzone Season 5 is on the horizon and there is an array of fresh content ready and waiting to roll out. The action-packed season will contain a WWE crossover which will bring a limited-time mode to MW3 known as Slam Deathmatch. Here are all the details you need to know about how the playlist works ahead of time.
If you aren’t familiar with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment,) it’s an American professional wrestling promotion. The collaboration will also bring wrestling stars to the in-game Call of Duty store such as Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes.

Slam Deathmatch features the traditional Team Deathmatch ruleset, but with a twist. When you fully deplete an enemy health bar using your weapon, your opponent will be downed, rather than eliminated. To earn points towards the match victory, you must complete the kill WWE style with a finishing move. All finishing moves will be randomized WWE finishing moves in the Slam Deathmatch mode.
MW3 and Warzone Season 5 will begin on July 24, 2024. However, Slam Deathmatch won’t arrive until July 31 with the WWE SummerSlam event. This will see you work through challenges across all game modes to unlock various rewards, including an Operator skin mastery reward. The mode will leave the rotation when the event comes to a close on August 7.
The huge MW3 and Warzone Season 5 content drop will also freshen up the multiplayer map pool with 2 new 6v6 maps, as well as map variants. In addition, there will be more unique modes, an expansion to the loot pool, the nostalgic Superstore point of interest from back in the Verdansk days will make its way to Urzikstan, and so much more.
