Fortnite has deployed its v29.10 update which has made some more addition to the Chapter 5 Season 2 loot pool. This includes a Mythic version of the Midas Drum Gun.
Base versions of the Drum Gun have already proved that they can pack a punch, but the Mythic variant will take that dominance to a whole new level.

Where to find the Mythic Midas Drum Gun in Fortnite
The Mythic Midas Drum Gun is now wielded by none other than Midas himself. He can be found roaming around the safety of the Marigold ship which is floating on the water on the east side of the map, directly east of Grim Gate.
Once you hunt down Midas, interact with him and you’ll be given the option to purchase the Mythic weapon from him. However, you’ll have to hand over a whopping 600 gold bars if you want to become the owner of the most powerful Drum Gun on the island.
Due to the new addition, this area is likely to be highly contested with other players trying to get their hands on the weapon. If you aren’t the first to land on Midas, there’s plenty of loot on board the boat, including a vault on the lower deck. Midas’ Mythic Drum Gun is definitely worth putting up a fight for.
If you’re running low on gold bars, there are many ways that you can replenish your reserves. You’ll come across gold bars when you’re simply looting chests, safes, and weapon bunkers. However, the best way to get gold bars this season is through golden chickens. Eliminating them as they roam around the island will drop gold bars, but waiting for them to lay eggs and harvesting them will see you earn 350 gold bars per egg.
