LEGO Fortnite: How to get Fertilizer

January 31, 2024 by Lauren Sayles

Take care of those crops!

There are a whole host of important materials in LEGO Fortnite and fertilizer is one of them. It allows you to grow your own crops, so you’ve got a constant and reliable source of food. Securing yourself some fertilizer may not be the easiest job, but this guide will show you the best way to get some the next time you play LEGO Fortnite.

There are two methods you can use to find fertilizer, both of which have been outlined below.

How to get fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite

To acquire some fertilizer, you essentially need to collect animal poop. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what’s needed to sustain your farm. You can collect fertilizer from chickens, cows, and even sheep which shouldn’t be too difficult to find, considering that the Grassy biomes are populated with animals.

All you have to do is scan the ground near where the animals roam and look out for small brown pieces of fertilizer. By interacting with it, you’ll pick it up and the fertilizer will be added to your inventory.

It’s worth noting that although hostile animals such as wolves drop fertilizer, they won’t be happy about you being in their space. It’s safer to grab fertilizer from the friendly farm animals, or at least arm yourself accordingly if you want to face uninviting wildlife.

Alternatively, you can assign a villager the Collect Nearby Resources job which will see them go out in the wild and bring back anything they find. This doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get some fertilizer, but there is a chance that the villager returns with some when they’ve finished searching the nearby area.

That’s all there is to know about how to get fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite!
