How to get the Wood Stake shotgun in Fortnite
You can find the latest shotgun in chests, Holo-Chests, and even as ground loot. Instead of regular shotgun pellets, the weapon uses wooden stakes. Therefore, it’ll prove particularly effective when used against the new Vampire Kado Thorne boss, as the weapon is designed to take down vampires. With that being said, it can still pack a punch against enemy players and it’s used the same way as you’d use a regular shotgun.
The downside, however, is that is has a magazine size of four and a reload time of just over four seconds, so you may need another weapon to back you up in close-quarter combat, too.
The Wood Stake shotgun is capable causing havoc in a match. It deals 94 damage to an opponent, while hitting a headshot deals a whopping 161 damage. As for the Mythic version, the base damage is stepped up to 106, while the headshot damage is 185.
That’s all you need to know about obtaining a Wood Stake shotgun in Fortnite. Only time will tell where the latest addition will sit in the close range meta.
