Since Starfield is the biggest Xbox exclusive of the year, fans aren’t just focused on what content will be available at launch, but what Bethesda could have planned for the coming months and even years. As you begin your journey through outer space and explore over 1,000 planets, you’ll join Constellation – the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy. Will the story end there, or will Starfield get DLC content?
Past Bethesda titles such as Skyrim and the Fallout series have received DLCs. They have come in various forms, with some adding to the narrative, while others rolled out extra side quests for players to complete.

Will Starfield get a DLC?
The short answer is, yes. Bethesda has already revealed that Starfield will get a lot of fresh content post-launch. This includes the game’s first story expansion pack which is known as Shattered Space. However, the name of the DLC is all that the team over at Bethesda have shared so far, but we can expect further details after the game fully launches on September 6.
To get access to the Shattered Space expansion, you will need to pre-order either the Premium or Constellation edition of the game. The standard edition will not grant you this expansion, but only time will tell if you’ll be able to purchase it as an add-on at a later date.
The base game is already going to take up a hefty 125GB of space, so all we can do is hope that future Starfield DLCs don’t eat up too much more of our hard drives.
