Starfield Animated Series Focuses On Individuals Surviving This Harsh Future

July 26, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Check out The Settled Systems.

The Starfield video game has already gained a massive following. Players can’t wait to get their hands on this new RPG from the talented folks from Bethesda. While we’re nearing its release, the studio has been marketing the title in a new thrilling way. A series of animated shorts were released, giving you a small look into the lives of three individuals who have started their own new thrilling adventures in a future marked with hostilities, greed, and corruption.

So far, there are three of these Starfield animated shorts that you can view today, and we’ll include them at throughout this article. None of the three are very long, as you’re getting just a small look into the individual’s lives, some hardships, and the newfound adventure that they chart off on. However, it’s clear fans are taking up with the animated series and wouldn’t mind seeing this become an actual show that we can tune into. Regardless we’ll give you a quick breakdown of the three videos so far released under The Settled Systems banner.

The first in the video, you’ll find Supra Et Ultra. This video follows a courier named Kent who dreamed of living within the prestigious New Atlantis city. Deciding a career change, Kent went from a courier to becoming a member of the UC Vanguard. However, Kent soon realizes that while this job does grant him the funds to live within the wealthy at New Atlantis, it doesn’t bring him the joy he’s been after. Instead, he’s found his new job of adventuring into the unknown, the real thrill of what he’s been after all along.

Our second video is The Hand That Feeds. This follows Ada, who is working with a partner in Pleasure City. Using this city to seek out easy prey for their precious goods, Ada soon finds herself being in a moral dilemma. Forced to fight off her partner in crime, Ada begins a new journey working with Ryujin Industries. However, was the change of heart worth the cost of losing a close friend?

Lastly, the video we have to share is Where Hope is Built. This video follows an orphan named Vanna. It’s her dream of exploring the stars above, but there’s only one problem in her way. To get off this rock, Vanna needs to fix a broken-down ship. Fortunately, when a dangerous situation pops up, Vanna manages to save the day and, in return, gain the crucial part to see her ship rise off the ground and launch into the heavens above.

Starfield is set to launch on September 6, 2023. When the game finally releases into the marketplace, you’ll find it available for the PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Likewise, since this is a first-party Microsoft title, you’ll also find the game available for the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
