Starfield Leaked Image Confirms Another Weapon

July 5, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Some weapons are too classic not to include.

Starfield is easily the biggest exclusive coming to Microsoft this year. With so many fans worldwide waiting for Bethesda to release this game, any news is more than welcome. One shred of news that came up recently is from a leaked image. Thanks to a report by Insider Gaming, we’re finding out that there will be one specific weapon model we’ll find available in the game. If you’re a fan of assault rifles, then check out what classic model will be making its way into this futuristic RPG.

It looks like the AK-47 is too classic not to include in this upcoming Bethesda title. As mentioned, we’re finding out about this leaked image that surfaced online through Insider Gaming, but they are crediting the source of this leak being the Idle Sloth’s Discord server. This image just shows that there will be an AK-47 weapon you can pick up and use within the game, and that’s about it. We’re not given any additional leaked images that help paint a picture of what else you can expect within the game that wasn’t previously covered.

Starfield is quite the ambitious game from Bethesda, and we’re hopeful it will have a smooth launch. We’re sure that the pressure is high for Bethesda to deliver. After all, the last supposed big exclusive from Microsoft this year, Redfall, failed to meet fan expectations by a long shot. At any rate, we’re sure that Bethesda is taking a lot of care to ensure that Starfield successfully launches into the marketplace.

Of course, Bethesda does have another engine they’re working on with this game. Todd Howard, the director behind Starfield, recently praised the Creation Engine 2, which is what they developed Starfield on. But we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves just how well the game is able to deliver when it launches into the marketplace. In the meantime, we’ll likely continue to see more Starfield marketing materials released to further hype up the game. For instance, Bethesda recently tweeted out the different cuisines you’ll be able to enjoy in the game, along with highlighting the boost pack.

Currently, Starfield is set to launch on September 6, 2023. When the game does release, you’ll find it available for PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Of course, since this is a first-party Microsoft title now, you’ll also find Starfield to be available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
