There are a lot of levels in Sackboy: A Big Adventure that focus on one mechanic and all of the platforming ideas that can be used with it. In Matter of Factory, the game leans heavily on the disappearing platforms that fall a few seconds after you step on them. While they do make finding all of the hidden Dream Orbs in the level a little tricky, it’s not impossible to get all five in a single attempt.

Dream Orb #1
The first Dream Orb is super easy to get and is found directly at the start of the level. As soon as you spawn and gain control of Sackboy, instead of heading to the northeast as the level guides you to do, head to the southwest and through the open metal gate. On the other side, you’ll be in a room with the first Dream Orb that you can walk over and easily grab.
Dream Orb #2
Play through the level as normal until you get to the checkpoint that’s found after climbing up a handful of giant bricks. The level will guide you to go to the right, however, look to the northwest corner of the platform with the checkpoint and you’ll find a handful of boxes stacked on top of one another. Break them to reveal a small tube. Roll into it.
After coming out of the tube on the platform above the brick area, walk south and you’ll see a glowing crack in the ground. Do a ground-pound over it to get Sackboy’s head stuck in the crack and then jump until you’re free and the second Dream Orb will pop out as well.
Dream Orb #3
Continue through the level until you come to a section where you need to avoid missile-like enemies that shoot from the walls while jumping on platforms that disappear after you step on them.
Get to the end of the section, but instead of entering the zipper door on the east side of the area, head south and you’ll find a secret section of disappearing platforms one of which has the third Dream Orb sitting on it.
Dream Orb #4
In the area immediately after the one where you got the third Dream Orb, you’ll have to deal with a bee’s nest that’s over a rotating gear. Once it’s taken care of, head to the south and you’ll find a staircase leading down to a mystery zipper door. Go through it.
Inside, you’ll find yourself in a room where you need to collect five pieces of a Dream Orb in order to be awarded one. Getting most of the pieces is pretty straightforward, however, the two pieces that are on the pedestals on either side of the rotating platform in the center of the room require you to spring off the jump pads to reach. Once you have them all, you’ll get the fourth Dream Orb.
Dream Orb #5
After getting the fourth orb, you’ll find yourself in a section where you need to avoid more missile enemies while jumping on disappearing platforms. In the first stretch of platforms, head south and you’ll see some more disappearing platforms to jump to. Jump to them and then to the ones to the east and the final Dream Orb will be sitting on one of the platforms down the path.
