Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Armor Sets Guide | Drop Locations

March 9, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

On WiiU & Switch: Get fashionable with Link’s many, many outfits. We’re here to show off all the sets available in Breath of the Wild, with pics and tips.

Join Gameranx on our journey though Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and check out all the armor sets we find along the way. There’s a ton of clothing to discover in Breath of the Wild, but we’re going to do our best to document every single outfit as we find it. From the dismal rags you start the game with, to the shiny Royal Armor at the end, and everything in between.

Here we’ll keep an updated gallery of our latest armor discoveries, and document where each set was found. Lots of gear in Breath of the Wild is randomly generated, but we’ll still provide details if you’re looking for similar items to complete the collection. Let’s get this show on the road.

Armor Sets Guide | Drop Locations

[Work-in-Progress: We’ll add more armor sets here as we find them!]

Armor is what Link wears into battle. Different sets of armor offer different unique bonuses or enhanced defense. You have unlimited storage for armor, and can swap between different outfits at any point during gameplay. There is no weight limit, and no armor hinders Link in any specific way — instead, you’ll get bonuses for the type of gear you select.

Link can enhance armor at the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four fountains in Hyrule, and upgrading armor twice will unlock the “Set Bonus” of that  outfit. Wearing a full set gives Link a buff that makes your armor even more valuable.
