[REDACTED] Walkthrough
In order to start the [REDACTED] Lost & Found quest, you’ll need to return to the military base on Venice Beach after completing the main quest missions surrounding it in the Beach Offensive quest. Head to the barracks on the southeastern side of the base and you’ll find a zombie named LT. Ford. Kill him and he’ll drop a note titled “Redacted.”
Pick up the note and it’ll tell you that the military has a “priority asset” in Container 78 on the beach. Head north inside the base and you’ll find the container connected to Container 75. Use 75 to climb up and over to get inside 78. Inside, fight off a burster and then pick up the note on the ground titled “Damaged in Transit.”
The note will lead you to Container 58 by the side of the tower on Venice Beach. Head to the tower either through the airlock tunnel or by fast travel and then locate Container 58 to the north of the tower. Fight off the zombies nearby and then enter the container to find another note titled “Special Delivery.”
Listen to the voice memo and you’ll learn that you need to find one more container: Container 66. Container 66 is located to the southwest of the tower which means you’ll need a keycard to access. The card is given during the “Cremains of the Day” side quest which can be started by talking to W.O. Rodriguez at the top of the tower. Head through the doors facing southwest of the tower and find Container 66 on the north side of the area.
Turn off the generator to the left of Container 67 to clear a way to 66 and then enter the container. Inside, you’ll find a crate named “Priority Asset.” Open it to find “Bodycount,” a legendary rifle and an excellent asset to your zombie-killing arsenal.
