There are a lot of secrets to find hidden away in every nook and cranny of Tchia‘s vast, New Caledonian-inspired world. While most take the form of unlockable cosmetic items or collectibles that help teach players a little bit more about the real-world culture that inspired it, some of the game’s secrets help add depth to the story such as the lengthy treasure chest hunt quest that gives more context and backstory to Pwi Dua.
There’s only one secret trophy in Tchia, but it revolves around players finding a secret item that’s only accessible once they have finished the game’s story and made it to the endgame. Luckily, unlocking the trophy is simple as long as you know where to look.
If you want to know how to easily unlock the “Thing” trophy, consult the guide below but be warned: there are story spoilers for Tchia‘s final moments.

How to Find Pwi Dua’s Hand
As mentioned above, there is only one hidden trophy in Tchia. The trophy, titled “Thing,” simply asks players to “find and soul-jump into Pwi Dua’s hand.” The trophy is only accessible once players have made it to the endgame since Pwi Dua doesn’t lose his hand until he gets in one final fight with Tchia in one of the game’s final cutscenes.
In the scene, Pwi Dua’s hand is cut off inside his helicopter while flying above Aemoon. Although that gives players a solid starting point for their search, Aemoon is the largest city in the game so finding it is a little bit like finding a needle in a haystack.
To find the hand, head to the steps in front of Ga Ngazo, the previously-floating building where the final confrontation with Pwi Dua and Meavora took place. Once there, walk towards the helicopter landing pad to the west of the steps. To the east of the pad, you’ll find a pickup truck parked with a rusted crate sitting in its bed. On top of the crate is Pwi Dua’s hand. The exact location is marked on the map below.
Like all other items in Tchia, you can pick up the hand and store it in your backpack, but in order to get the trophy, soul-jump into it. As soon as you do, the trophy will pop and you’ll be able to crawl around as the hand. If you pull the right trigger, you can make the “hang loose” hand sign.
