Pokemon Go always introduces Trainers to brand new events and next up is a Dazzling Dream. The event will feature an array of useful bonuses, increase the chance of certain encounters, and even allow you to earn Mega Energy. Since the focus is around Fairy-types, you may already be able to guess which Pokemon will be taking center stage. If you want to take advantage of all the rewards up for grabs, we’ve got everything you need to know about the upcoming event.
The Dazzling Dream event will kick off on January 13, 2024 at 10:00am and come to a close on Tuesday January 16, 2024 at 8:00pm local time. Therefore, you have plenty of time to work through Field Research and make the most of the wild encounters that feature in the event.

Throughout the duration of the event, you’ll receive:
- 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon
- 2x Stardust for hatching Pokemon

The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild:

- Jigglypuff
- Marill
- Snubbull
- Cottonee
- White Flower Flabébé
- Orange Flower Flabébé
- Spritzee
- Swirlix
- Dedenne
- Cutiefly
- Morelull
- Togetic
- Red Flower Flabébé (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa only)
- Blue Flower Flabébé (Asia-Pacific region only)
- Yellow Flower Flabébé (The Americas only)
7km eggs
With a 7km egg active, you’ll have the chance to hatch:
- Togepi
- Spritzee
- Swirlix
- Cutiefly
It’s worth noting that Cutiefly hatched from 7km eggs will have a greater chance of being a Shiny than a Cutiefly found in the wild.
Field Research
Working through Field Research tasks during the event will grant you the following Pokemon:
- Alolan Vulpix
- Spritzee
- Swirlix
- Cutiefly
- Mawile
- Carbink
Certain Field Research tasks will see you earn Mega Energy for:
- Mega Gardevoir
- Mega Altaria
