Resident Evil Village: Shadow of Rose - How To Get All Weapons, Upgrades & Recipes In The Castle

Trapped in the Castle, Rose has to fend for herself while dodging slimy zombies and one giant mace-wielding monster. The first section of the ‘Shadow of Rose‘ DLC will be familiar to fans of RE Village — but there are plenty of twists compared to the original version of the castle. You can find optional weapon upgrades, powerful guns, and you’ll even be able to unlock recipes by reading certain notes. To make sure you don’t miss anything, here’s a quick rundown of all the weapon locations in the Castle. Because this is also the largest, most substantial location in the DLC, this covers literally all the new gear you’ll need to face the final boss.

All Weapons, Upgrades & Recipes | Locations Guide

As you explore the castle in “Shadow of Rose” you can find new weapons, upgrades for your handgun, and recipes to craft useful items. Some you’ll get automatically, but others are entirely optional. Here’s where to find them all.

Lemi Handgun: Automatically unlocked at the start of the Castle.

First Aid Med Crafting Recipe: Unlock crafting recipe by reading the note in the 2F stairwell through the north Courtyard door. Located on the dresser.

Handgun Ammo Crafting Recipe: Acquired at the same time as the First Aid Med recipe.

High-Capacity Mag (Lemi Upgrade): Located in the 2F Waiting Room. Acquire after gaining the ability to shatter cores. There’s a shortcut from the 2F Main Hall.

Compensator (Lemi Upgrade): Located in the Salon, available after acquiring the [Monocular Key] from the 2F Dressing Room. After gaining the [Monocular Key] during the Silver Mask Path, return to the Antechamber and unlock the case in the Salon.

Shotgun Shells Recipe: After collecting the [Silver Mask], you’ll exit this wing of the castle by going through the Guest Room. Go out onto the balcony and enter the Terrace. Inside, read the note to unlock how to craft Shotgun Shells.
