Take a trip into the past and learn how the Baker family turned into murderous monsters in the Daughters DLC for Resident Evil 7. In this additional episode, included in the Banned Footage Vol. 2 pack, you’ll get a glimpse of the first night that Eveline arrives.
Playing as Zoe Baker, you’ll have to attempt a desperate escape, using your full knowledge of the house. It can get tricky, are there are two major endings to unlock — the “Bad” ending and the “True” ending. We’ll show you how to get both. All it takes is a lot of stealth and ingenuity.

Daughters DLC | How to Unlock All The Endings
There are two endings in the “Daughters” scenario — Bad and True. There are essentially two completion paths, and depending on which of the two paths you take, you’ll get a different ending. It’s all about carefully examining your environment and discovering new ways to enter familiar locations.
“Bad” Ending – Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Unlock the Butterfly Effect achievement / trophy when you complete this version of events.
- Get the [Change of Clothes] from the Main House 1F: Laundry Room.
- Deliver the [Change of Clothes] to the Main House 2F: Kid’s Room and give them to Eveline.
- Go to the Main House 1F: Dining Area to find Lucas.
- Go to the Main House 2F: Bathroom to find Marguerite.
- Go to the Main House 1F: Garage and collect the [Rope] from the metal shelf.
- Backtrack to the Main House 2F: Bathroom.
- This will trigger a [Stalker Event].
- Run to the Main House 2F: Recreation Room to escape.
- In the Recreation Room, use the [Rope] to lock the door and keep the [Stalker] out.
- Go to the room connected to the Recreation Room (Grandma’s Room) and collect the [Fork] from the end table.
- Use the [Fork] on the boarded-up windows near the statue. Interact with the boarded-up Main Hall door.
- Avoid the [Stalker] and reach the Main House 1F double doors in the Main Hall. Go through the gain the [Car Key] — retreat to the Main House 1F: Laundry Room.
- Use the Main House 1F: Laundry Room crawlspace to reach the Pantry. Sneak past the [Stalker] and enter the Main House 1F: Garage.
- Enter the [Car] and start the engine to complete the scenario.
“True” Ending – Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Unlock the One Instinct: Survival achievement / trophy when you complete this version of events.
- Instead of getting the [Change of Clothes] — look at Lucas’ phone and remember the code: 1019.
- Get the [Lock Pick] in the crawlspace beneath the Main House 1F: Pantry.
- Now collect the [Change of Clothes] from the Main House 1F: Laundry Room.
- Go to the Main House 2F: Bathroom and use the [Lockpick] on the drawer.
- Collect the [Small Component] here.
- Go to the Main House 2F: Kid’s Room. Before giving Eveline the [Change of Clothes]…
- Use the [Small Component] on the trophy. Go upstairs and enter [1019] into the open laptop.
- Now give the [Change of Clothes] to Eveline.
- Continue as you would in the previous version of events; find Lucas in the Dining Room, find Marguerite in the Bathroom, get the [Rope] from the Garage and return to the Bathroom.
- Once again, retreat to the Main House 2F: Recreation Room and seal the door shut with the [Rope].
- Still the same, enter Grandma’s Room and get the [Fork]. Use it to exit the room.
- Before returning to the Main Hall, slip through the narrow space on the balcony and collect the [Dog’s Head Emblem] from the tool box.
- Enter the Main Hall and open the 1F door to the Yard with the [Dog’s Head Emblem].
- Check the Note in the Trailer, then interact with the Photo in Mia’s hand to complete this sequence.
